"From the moment you arrive, you are immersed in the atmosphere of the entire village. The place is beautiful, and the owner welcomes you warmly and goes above and beyond to provide helpful tourist information. The breakfast is delicious, the view from the room is stunning, and the bed is extremely comfortable. For me, this hotel and my experience there were a 20/10! It is also located in a peaceful and quiet area by the river"

"The location of this hotel is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants and food options nearby. It is also directly opposite the Tianmen Cableway area and the shuttle bus stops, making it very easy to get around. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was a good size. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the buffet breakfast. There were very few options suitable for Western guests, and the breakfast room itself felt rather sad and uninviting."

"Me and my friend loved this hotel, we are first time travelers to China from Canada and it was a beautiful hotel with street view of tianmen mountain. If you’re going to Zhangjiajie, this is the perfect place!"

"A very relaxing stay! The hotel is conveniently located in the town of Wulingyuan. On arrival, we were greeted by John. John is friendliest person we've met on this trip. He is such a happy guy and a credit to the hotel. The rooms were huge and extremely modern. We were a family of 3 and we had so much space. There is a small pool at the rear of the property, which is really nice to chill in after a long day in the mountains. There's an Indian Restaurant on the ground floor which very nice, and we'll priced for the quality. A brilliant stay, thank you!"
Zhangjiajie Huatian Hotel

"The main positive about this property are the staff and the location. The staff are very polite, professional and most of all personable and helpful. Major props to Crystal and Sunny. Nothing but good things to say about them. The hotel is also very close to Tianmen Mountain cablecar station as well as local restaurants and airport/train station as a result of being in the city center. The property itself is well maintained though quite old and main drawbacks is the fact that the property itself is old as well as the fact that people smoke within and outside the premises. This makes for a poorer experience otherwise I will give it 5 stars."

"It does smell like smoke. Lots of people smok in the cafe which is hard to sit in. Staff was good. Especially the ones to help book tours. Overall it's a good place but the smoke smell through the hotel is annoying for us."

"The owners went above and beyond for us. Echo showed us to breakfast and was available to answer questions. Our plane was 3 hours delayed and the owner picked us up at 1:00 AM! Room was cool and situated in an easy place. The were so helpful and would recommend to any Americans traveling China."
