I arrived late evening from being at the Speedway in Manchester. I had missed the excellent Italian restaurant next door & bought some sandwiches from the garage across the road, which I enjoyed with an excellent pint from the bar. As always the staff were friendly & helpful both on arrival, in breakfast & on departure.

Very fast check in and check out - stayed for a wedding so didn't really spend a lot of time in the hotel, or use the facilities too much. Room was very clean and had plenty of space and storage, and was very quiet both of the nights we were there (and the hotel seemed busy). Good selection of hot drinks in the room. Lots of parking available, and a petrol station immediately opposite, with a Tesco express and a Greggs two minutes walk away.

Excellent hotel, excellent room, excellent staff. Couldn't have asked for more. Only (very minor) negative was no scrambled egg option on an otherwise top-notch breakfast, but that's just me. Would definitely stay again.

We had a pleasant stay at The Briar Court Hotel. Location was good, close to the motorway and Huddersfield. Breakfast was good with some gluten free options. Staff were very helpful. We had a dog friendly room, but there was a large stain on the carpet.
