Room was immaculate spacious and comfortable. Staff were welcoming friendly and very helpful. Breakfast good value for money. Good location and quiet room. Would highly recommend
Great country pub atmosphere, clean rooms with plenty of character, thoughtful little touches, breakfast first class. However I would try to avoid rooms 1 and 2 as these are next to the surprisingly noisy road. Room one has a very low bathroom door about 5ft
6 ins high, they do warn you but I hit my head on several occasions.
A really pretty newly refurbished country pub hotel. The room was lovely and bathroom very clean. Tye staff were really helpful and attentive especially the waitress at breakfast. We had dinner there too which was really nice. We even attended the pub quiz!
Good value, nice breakfast, really lovely staff. Well appointed room with DAB radio and good sized telly. In short, great atmosphere, felt welcome and very comfortable - thanks!!
We were delighted with our choice of accommodation. The decor and ambiance was perfect. The whole of the building was spotlessly clean and the staff were unfailingly pleasant and polite.
Lovely welcome, showed to my room. Well above average room for the money. Spotlessly clean & lots of nice touches. Nice bar area and one of the best breakfast choices I’ve had for a long time.
A lovely property, my room was excellent, comfortable and spotless. Easy parking, quiet neighbourhood, good location for my purposes.
A handwritten welcome note is a nice touch.
Claire was brilliant.
Lovely hotel! Only drawback are the stairs. The room was very warm! But nicely furnished and a nice en-suite with a shower over the bath.
Lots of little thoughtful touches.
The staff were lovely, very genuine and kind! Food was lovely, excellent breakfast with loads of choice. The only disappointment was the cheeseboard at dinner which seemed a little over priced and biscuits that were a bit chewy!
Would definitely recommend though !

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
It was lovely, however, staff forgot my dogs bowls and food was a little greasy (cauliflower bites). They tried to charge me twice even though i'd already paid through expedia, this really annoyed me as they held me up in reception when I needed to leave for my tour.
Room was lovely and clean, however, the window didn't open so it did get quite hot.
The hotel was decorated nicely and breakfast was amazing.
Clean and comfortable room, spacious bathroom and good quality shower gel and shampoo.
Breakfast included, good cooked breakfast, full english, eggs benedict etc. But help yourself is basic - just cereals, yoghurts and toast.
Friendly and helpful staff, especially the manager.
The pub closed before 10pm, and returning after that time I needed to enter through a back entrance, Im sure quite safe, but felt a liittle risky.
