Charming, tastefully remodeled beach duplex unit only 60 steps to the sands of lovely Sunset Beach. Enjoy beach living at it's best in this sunny, upstairs, light-filled unit which includes two upgraded bathrooms and gourmet kitchen with expansive eat-in counter. Newly installed air conditioning system to keep you cool on the warm summer evenings. Every part of the home has been completely renovated in decorator grays and whites. Take in the breezes or enjoy a barbecue with friends on your private deck. There are two newly renovated bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, full size dresser and private en-suite bathroom. This bathroom includes a shower, vanity and toilet. The second bedroom has a comfy double bed, dresser and desk. The second bathroom is just across the hall and has a tub/shower, vanity and toilet. There is also a brand-new pull-out queen size sofa bed in the living room. The living room provides ample seating for gathering to watch TV or to socialize. The kitchen is also newly remodeled and offers all of the amenities that a cook could desire. The kitchen has a very large eat-in counter for gathering or having meals. The deck is just off of the front door and includes a grill, table for four (or more) and a sitting bench. There are free laundry facilities onsite which include a washer/dryer and utility sink. I provide two bikes and assorted beach toys including boogie boards, beach chairs and beach umbrellas.
This home is conveniently close to many activities and attractions. World class surfing or swimming are just steps away, or opt for kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding merely across the road in Huntington Harbor. Numerous restaurants are walking distance and Downtown Huntington beach is a close ten minute drive. Sunset Beach is a quaint beach-town with a vibe all its own, ranging from bohemian inspired eateries to night-time entertainment. There are miles of beachfront path for biking, jogging or an evening stroll. Nearby Bolsa Chica State beach also offers fire-pits for evening gatherings. World-famous theme parks such as Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm are a short 30 minute drive. Nearby Long Beach also offers the Aquarium of the Pacific. This unit is perfect for two couples or a family and there is ample parking on-site (can accommodate two larger vehicles or three compact cars). The nearby greenbelt also offers a children's park and grassy area. Please note that this unit is not intended for parties or large groups of people wanting to have "ragers". Excessive noise and disruption of the neighborhood will not be tolerated. There is a NO SMOKING policy.

Secret Gem

Place is steps away from beach. Quiet area and beach is beautiful. There is a bike path that rides to the Huntington Beach pier. Place is super clean, and updated. Has everything you need.

Cozy Beach Suite

We really enjoyed our stay here. The unit is fully stocked with everything you could need. The beds were very comfy. Lots of towels are provided including beach towels. We really enjoyed the bikes and the beachfront paths to take bike rides on. The road is a bit noisy so earplugs would be beneficial. He location is great. Literally steps to the beach. The large parking space was appreciated. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Perfect Location!

We had a small family vacation, and this was the perfect location for us- close to the beach, several health food/grocery options within a mile or two, as well as lots of restaurants to choose from nearby. The home was bright and clean with lots of windows and a really nice open island/living room space for games and movies. I would absolutely recommend it to friends and family!

close to the beach

I would like to give it a 3 and 1/2 stars but that's not possible with this rating. The place had a great parking spot and was very close to the beach. The laundry is downstairs in a room that you open with a key. There were a lot of nice white bath towels and beach towels.The only bummer was the air conditioning made a loud buzzing noise in both bedrooms. They came and looked at it and couldn't fix it. It would have to be completely replaced by an air conditioning company, so we went without it over the fourth of July week. Since the neighbors had a big party and karaoke underneath the master bedroom window, we had to keep the window shut. It was a bummer paying for a nice place that didn't have the air conditioning working properly.

Very hot in Cali during our stay and with no AC the condo was extremely warm at times. Loud traffic noise with windows open. Nicely renovated and close to the beach.

Charming home

We have stayed at this property before and we were excited to stay there again. It is a charming beach home with only a short walk to the beach. There is a new very comfortable couch in the living room, the kitchen is well equipped, there are plenty of towels and beach towels available and there is a storage area with ice chests, boogie boards, beach chairs and bicycles. There is liquid hand soap in the bathrooms, but you will need to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The property owner is quick to respond to questions or concerns. We love this property and look forward to staying there on our next trip to So Cal.

Spring Break Getaway

Our family had a wonderful time in Huntington Beach during our spring break. We were able to ride our bikes to Seal Beach and walk to many restaurants. Our rental was clean and just enough space for our family of 4. The hosts were accommodating and responsive too. Our only constructive criticisms would be the mattress in the guest room is ready to be replaced...the box spring is very loud when you move and the mattress rolls to the center. The shower door in the master bath does not close all the way and the kitchen could use a deep cleaning as there seemed to be a layer of grease on the surfaces. Being just steps from the beach was perfect as we even walked over one night to look at the lights of Long Beach and enjoy the cold sand. Thank you for sharing your home!

50th Birthday Celebration

I stayed on the property with my partner and 3 adult children for a 50th bday celebration. Pros: Location: super close to beach , 35 min drive to Disneyland, 45 min drive to LA (hour with traffic) Great shops , restaurants and stores close by Bike trail is beautiful and we rode into Huntington. Beaches were not crowded and perfect for sunbathing House: Renovated and decorated beautifully Super convenient to beach access . Has everything you may need - dishes, Keurig, spices , pots and pans, towels, bedding , beach towels, toys, beach chairs , laundry facilities and parking Cons: Not much . Very strong oil diffuser air refreshers I had to remove to outside due to allergies. Shower door fell inwards - we had to tighten up screws . Front door knob was loose - tightened this up as well . Toolbox was located in laundry room . Extra bedroom is full sized bed . Couch is huge so we didn’t even pull it out - son slept fine just on the sofa. We would book this again in a heartbeat!!! Immaculate Property

Beautiful home in relaxing Sunset Beach. Great to have separate AC units for the bedrooms. Property included plenty of beach gear, including coolers and chairs. Bikes provided were great to ride on the bike path towards the Huntington Beach pier.

Pleasant Place to Stay

As advertised, 60 steps to the beach, though I didn't really count. Seemed like a sweet neighborhood too. The decor was fun and perfectly beach-y. We appreciated the coffee pods and the parking space as well. Everything went smoothly and we had a nice visit.
