Beautiful property beautiful house house has everything you need house sits on a great cove. It does have a steep hill going down to the water. Be good on your cardio.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear—we'd found a little slice of lakeside heaven. Charlie and Mollie have truly mastered the art of hospitality (we suspect mind-reading might be involved). The space was spotless, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches that made us feel instantly at home—including a warm welcome for our beloved fur baby. There were delightful surprises tucked in everywhere—chocolate and wine for the grown-ups (yes, please!), and a coffee selection that kept us energized enough to play with the kids. The porch offered stunning views we never got tired of, and with plenty of room for the boat and a charming little beach to swim from, we were set for both adventure and relaxation.It’s rare to find a place that wraps you up like a hug and hands you a glass of wine—but this one does. We can’t wait to come back for more lake magic!

Wonderful house on the lake

We very much enjoyed our Thanksgiving weekend at the house. The owners were great. The house had everything: it was very well-equipped as a short-term rental, far beyond expectations. The location is fabulous, and the kids enjoyed being out on the water despite the November temperatures.

Relaxing and peaceful getaway perfect for a group of friends

The house is amazing! Everything from the infinity gaming table, to the massage chair to the espresso machine made us feel pampered! Nothing can beat the sound of the wind in the tress and the birds while you sit out back though. We will definitely be back!

This is one my favorite places I have stayed on Rayburn. The views are awesome, the property is therapeutic but most of all Charlie and Mollie are by far the best host we have ever had. The house had everything we needed and more. They have thought of everything and a pleasure to work with. We will rent again

Eagle's Pointe is THE Place to stay!!

What can I add to the glowing reviews by others? The hosts were fantastic and provided so many extras - 2 bottles of wine, lots of water bottles, great coffee (which helped since we forgot ours), bug spray, eggs and bacon, hot dogs & buns, s'mores kit, bathroom sundries....you get the idea. The house was filled with comfortable furniture and the deck was shaded most of the time as we lounged around the beautiful property. Best VRBO I've ever rented!!! We will return!!

Serenity at Eagles Point

The lake house at Eagles Point is luxurious with a magnificent, close up view of Sam Rayburn lake. Five star luxury living on the lake at its best. Charlie and Mollie are excellent hosts and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and memorable, including having a large spread of breakfast and other food items stocked and ready to get us started. On learning that we like to play ping pong they even provided a brand new ping pong table setup during our stay. Just goes to show the extra effort Charlie and Mollie put in to treat their guests well. Many thanks for a memorable vacation at Eagles Point.

Beautiful getaway

We knew the property was beautiful from the online photos, but seeing in person is a must. My naturalist sister-in-law was so excited to see an eagle multiple times, several deer, and a woodpecker. Even the rain on the last day was special because we could hear it on the metal roof in the early morning hours! The hosts were extremely responsive and thought of so many things to make the stay memorable. Even though we didn’t have children with us this time, we were like kids when we saw the s’mores fixings! Of course we had to make some! And the massage chair....fixed all our aches & pains...wow!

Spectacular!!! The best VRBO!

Charlie and Mollie are hands down the best VRBO host we have experienced. Communication is prompt and friendly. Directions to find the home were a breeze. I could not believe how well appointed the home was. There were so many extras like a s’mores kit, starter breakfast and lunch items, trash bags, toiletries in case you left home without something, spices and completely equipped kitchen with top notch appliances. I could really go on and on. The views are so peaceful and the outdoor furniture makes it easy to relax! The house is super clean with comfortable beds and furniture. I rely heavily on other reviews when looking for homes to rent and this listing is one 5 Star review after another!!! Happy to add another glowing review! Our family will visit again!

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION

Wow, from the second you walk in the door...just WOW !! Charlie and Mollie thought of everything....beautiful home , grounds, and views 180 degrees, Smores kit, snacks, 2 refrigerators, and much more . The hosts responded to our inquiries prior to, during and after our stay amazingly fast. They are so friendly which we greatly appreciated. Loved the huge decks, massive windows, massage chair, resort style shower, ping pong, 3 fire pits and more. Tons of wildlife ( even a massive gator swimming across the cove after a storm). Perfect location close to Hanks creek (floating dock and 2 ramps) and great spot to beach boat at the bottom of the hill for easy access. everything about Eagles Point is First Class. Surprise slice of heaven on earth

The road in was long and is gravel BUT once you get to the house- which is a secluded haven with no neighbor close enough to even hear- and walk into the family room and you just drop the stress. The view is amazing and exactly like the pictures on VRBO. Right out front is a beautiful cliff view then you can walk down to the water. You are able to tie off your boat down by the beach area- you do have to walk in the water to get to your boat if you have a deeper hulled boat- if you have pontoon boat you can go right on land. You see wildlife out there also. If you want/need to decompress and just get away this is the place. You can also fish out there. The hosts were wonderful- very helpful and cared for your comfort. They were the first hosts that provided meals and a case of water for us! They provided travel toothbrush kits, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, towels along with the food. You have access to a flat float, kayaks and stand up paddle boards. It was a wonderful space and time there!

Blown away!

From the first communication we had with the owners of this incredible place; to the time we reluctantly packed up and headed back home, those two words - "blown away" - were never far from our lips or minds. The property; the house; the views; the lake; the wildlife; the hospitality; the attention to detail everywhere we looked. All were incredible! If you didn't bring it, chances are it was provided. If you did bring it, you realized you could have packed a lot lighter. You want privacy? You got it! You want comfort? You got it! You want quality all around? You got it! We spent three nights here to celebrate a landmark birthday. When we walked into the kitchen, there was a Happy Birthday balloon attached to two bottles of wine. Who does that sort of thing? Your hosts, Charlie and Mollie.

The hosts responded to our inquiries prior to, during and after our stay amazingly fast. They are so friendly which we greatly appreciated. The directions they gave made it easy to find their home. The house is spectacular. Being on a point provides terrific views from every room inside the home. It was extremely clean and lacked no supplies whatsoever. These hosts go the extra mile and provide a dozen eggs and other breakfast items in addition to hot dogs etc. They have a smores kit ready to go as well. They also had the frig stocked with a ton of bottled water. They knew we were visiting to celebrate a birthday and left a lovely greeting gift for us . That was really a welcoming and unexpected touch! They have two refrigerators which was super because we had more than enough room to store all the food we brought. All of the appliances are first class and easy to use. They have over the top coffee and espresso makers and supply the pods etc. There is an endless list of amenities throughout the home. We spent 90 percent of our waking hours on their porch and deck. They supply everything you need to enjoy the outdoors. The wildlife is incredible. We saw eagles, cardinals, woodpeckers and deer just to name a few. The grounds are well manicured to make walking around safe but kept natural in areas which enables one to enjoy the Texas landscape and lush tall trees and lake. A 10star visit and we would love to go back !!

Best Rental Yet!

We've stayed in a number of rentals around Texas. This was by far the best we've stayed in. It was very clean, very nice, and a great experience. The communication was superb. We saw the eagles almost every day. We saw the osprey, too. We'd love to stay again.

Beautiful home on Lake Sam Rayburn

Property was exactly as expected from the owner’s description. Beautiful home on an incredible part of the lake. We really enjoyed the outdoor living spaces and the fantastic views. Saw multiple Bald Eagles along with deer and other wildlife. Owners made the process very easy and were very responsive. We hope to come back soon!!

Amazing Property with Exceptional Hosts!!

My husband and I just spent a week at Eagle’s Point for our Anniversary and it was absolutely wonderful!! We wanted somewhere that was peaceful, relaxing, private and had fishing access on-site…Eagle’s Point absolutely fit the bill!!The house itself is immaculate and very spacious with huge windows throughout for absolutely breathtaking views! It is well thought out and we enjoyed the little extras, too, from the fancy massage chair in the master bedroom to the ping pong table in the garage. Outdoors, there is plenty of space on the multilevel deck, including an outdoor eating area, propane grill, firepit (perfect for s’mores), picnic table, and bench swing. In 3 evenings of fishing from the bank at the rear of the property, we caught over 40 catfish!! We didn’t even mind “feeding” the fish with our bait, because sitting there, listening to the lake was just so relaxing. FYI: The hill to walk up/down is pretty steep. We saw a variety of wildlife on the property, too, including deer (literally in the front yard), eagles, hummingbirds, and ducks, and even a flock of about 100 birds that swooped down to the lake to feed (it was an awesome view).Charlie & Mollie are easily the best VRBO hosts and were so great about providing directions, answering any questions we had, and providing recommendations for restaurants, etc. in Lufkin and Nacogdoches. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!
