"We were traveling with extended family 8 of us total. My husband I stayed in the guest cottage which was perfect. Our only problem was the shower. The water ran out of the shower into the room. The shower floor is not pitched to the drain. Luckily we were given extra towels"

"We were satisfied with this stay. The kids, 6-38, stayed in the larger house and we stayed in the smaller one. We thought the smaller house was closer to the large one, but it is a little bit down the road. The only comment I will make about the smaller house is that the parking area is up from the house and the path down is very rocky. If you have any mobility issues it would be difficult to traverse. It snowed while we were there and we had to use ice cleats to go up to the car. Overall though...

The location is excellent — very central and convenient for exploring Reykjavík, with many attractions, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and hassle-free. We could always find car-park spaces available. Our room was comfortable and nicely designed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. "The staff was very helpful. The unit was spotless. It was a very good value for the money. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the dishes and appliances needed if you need to cook during your trip. One of the best places I’ve stayed at in my travels."

"Tidy and cozy apartment was found on arrival. We had no issues that required extra staff communication, which was favorable as no aren’t staff were present 24/7 on site. Plenty of delightful options readily available just outside the doorstep."

"Contactless check in, so there’s no staff on site if you have issues. We ended up stuck outside for about half an hour waiting for someone. Besides that, it was pretty good. I don’t think I would do a contactless check in hotel again. It works when it works, but when anything goes wrong, it’s harder to get it addressed."
