"The hotel is quite nice, but I arrived on an international flight after midnight and the hotel shuttle, which I had arranged, never arrived. As I was making the arrangements, the hotel insisted that I call once I was ready for the shuttle, which I thought was unnecessary, as they can easily see when the flight landed. Regardless, I agreed to call, but once I did, they never answered the phone! So, after over an hour, I gave up, and arranged for an Uber to take me to the hotel. The staff apologized, but not with much sincerity. Just wanting a glass of wine before retiring to bed, the bar was closing as I check in - if only I hadn't waited for the shuttle!"
