"It was terrible, an hour and a half drive from Indio where we were going to the 3 night concert, we had no idea that the highway was a death trap . I didn’t even pickup the keys , there was no way I was driving that road at two in the morning"

We went when there was a heatwave. It should have been in the 30's and 40's, but it got as warm as 60's. There was hardly any snow (kind of the whole point of the trip). Idyllwild is as nice as always.

I love this town so much. It was my first time here and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and how nice everyone was. Really really kind and great people. I loved the stars at night and how quiet it got at night

Love going to Idyllwild for the hiking opportunities, nature, the small town feel with lots of options for shopping and eating and just relaxing. Plus it's an easy 2 hour scenic drive from San Diego.
