"Stayed twice in 2018 and 2026. Both times, the staff were warm and helpful. The bathing facilities are clean and well-stocked with amenities. The outdoor bath/ rotemburo is beautifully landscaped. In 2026, the upgraded facilities were modern and elegant. Lounge featuring refreshing beverages was relaxing. New beautiful yukata and slipper sets, including children’s sizes. "⭐ 1-Star Review Giving one star due to unacceptable behavior from the property owner. We were treated poorly for checking out only 15 minutes late, including an invasion of personal space during checkout. Additionally, a forgotten personal item received no assistance or support afterward. This experience was extremely disappointing and should never happen to guests."

"My one night here became 3 nights. Judo is the most amazing person in Nagahama. He is very helpful and accommodating even though he was busy helping out with the festival. The property is well maintained, quaint and the area is very quiet at night. That’s when it turns magical. I highly recommend this guesthouse."
