"The stay had much to be desired. Check in was at 2. When we arrived at 2 we were told it would be about another hour as they were not ready. It was about 35 to 40 mins and the room was ready. "This hotel was a "wow" all around. The photos don't do it justice:
1) The area: the town it was in is super cute. Everyone knows one another in the area. Views of Etna were incredible. Just a very beautiful region of sicily.
2) The service: the front desk helped us book a helicopter tour of etna. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, it was fantastic!
3) Spa: Wow wow wow - beautiful turkish bath, and you get it all to yourself with the fee. My husband and I enjoyed this immensely!
4) Restaurant: Probably the best meal we had in sicily. Incredibly creative, beautifully plated dishes. Props to the chef!
5) The rooms - baroque revival, with hand painted ceilings, just amazing. Comfy beds and nice rainfall showers in bathroom. "
