"Lovely hostel room but could do with some improvements such as a lamp in the room, more comfortable beds and updated bathrooms. Great touch with daily cleaners. "

"Very disappointed, the host made you feel more like an intruder than a guest.
Would not recommend as after six months of travelling around South America this is the worst stay I’ve had anywhere. "

This place feels like a secret paradise on a desert island.
The food was mind blowing with great chefs for breakfast and dinner. we saw a turtle swimming by one morning while having breakfast !
The beach located close to the resort is wonderful and there are some great hikes to the main town and waterfalls.

"The location is fabulous. Directly on the main strip in front of the sea. Staff was helpful. After checking in the AC wouldn't turn on. Fixed that.. 2 hrs later it was still hot so a technician came and we went to dinner. Upon return at 1 am, it was cooler but not cold. So i let them know in the morning before heading out. When returned in the evening it was much cooler. The shower was not very clean..it had old stains. It was also very finicky.. usually scalding hot. I was on the 2nd floor......
"the houses were looking lovely on the internet and the house itself was clean and well maintained but it is more a hotel of value of 200 /300 reales per night. no more. the bed was cheap and terrible. the sheets were as thin as they could possible be and we didn't feel comfortable when we entered the room and found blood spatters on the wall and curtains. this doesn't fill one with confidence "
"The room smelled really bad, like old and rancid. The bed sheets had a strong foul mothy smell like they haven’t been washed in months. The bathroom walls were dirty and stained. The balcony had no table or chairs. The tv is very small, very bad quality picture and no Netflix or cable. "
"A family oriented resort, ideal if you are travelling with kids. Quality was excellent and the staff helpful with everything. The suites were very spacious and details like the safari and safari-like decoration all over the resort made the stay a beautiful adventure. "

"All of the staff is super nice. I don’t speak Portuguese, so they had to work a little harder. I had to work a couple days, but the WiFi was great upstairs and downstairs. I was able to do Teams video meetings. They have a good breakfast and afternoon tea. "

"This is a lovely small hotel. At first I thought I was missing out by not being in the town, but this was SOOO much better - quiet, beautiful, with hiking and beaches near by. They went out of their way to be helpful (rescuing me when I got lost on a hike). The only small suggestion I would make is that they should allow guests to fill up water bottle with their filtered water to save on unnecessarily using plastic bottles (or at least sell large bottles of water). Check in was easy and the guy on reception very friendly. Room was a good size and clean with air conditioning.
Bed was comfortable and the shower was good.
