Overnight stay at The New Inn near Ilminster.

The hosts were most welcoming and we enjoyed a lovely overnight stay. We had an excellent evening meal, plus a delicious breakfast with best bacon I have ever tasted! The atmosphere in the pub in the evening was very friendly and just as a village pub should be full of locals.

We had a wonderful stay at the New Inn. We stayed in the family room which was perfect for our family. We had a great dinner in the evening and a super breakfast in the morning. It's in a very picturesque village which was lovely to walk around. Recommended!

Excellent stay!

We stayed just the one night and arrived after 7.30 pm we were warmly welcomed and had a lovely, lovely meal. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Great room, very comfy bed. Breakfast was brilliant, great full english! Can highly recommemd The New Inn.

So quiet in the depths of the Somerset countryside that there was little noise apart from the birds! Very hospitable, nice food, and a clean and adequately comfortable room. A pleasant night’s stay.

A very welcoming village pub. Food was great and the room we had (family room) was clean, fresh laundry and spacious. Great value as well. Breakfast was perfect portion size and a tasty start to our day. We would definitely go back.

The pub was brilliant and so friendly from first introduction to saying goodbye! The breakfast was delicious and filled a hole. And there were puppies which is an absolute bonus! Couldnt fault it, we were only there for a wedding but we would definitely visit again if we were in the area.
