"We had a wonderful stay. The owner met us at the property to give us the keys and gave us a tour of the house. The location was perfect! Great view from all the windows in the house and outside on the patio. The upgraded shower was fantastic as was the bidet in the second bathroom. Beds were comfortable and house was well stocked with everything you could hope for. Plenty of towels, beach toys etc. Close to a bunch of restaurants, many within walking distance. We loved the Thai place across the street! Property had a great pool and hot tub steps away from our home. Owner was so good with answering all our questions and making sure we were comfortable. Patio is huge and includes a couple of fireplaces and tons of seating to enjoy the mornings and the sunsets. Overall a great experience and hope to return the next time we visit San Diego"

"This is a very basic rental with no extras (think spices, oils, condiments, beach towels, you'll need to bring them). Location is beautiful. Shop's are close and Pizzeria Luigi is a must for your trip. Check in process was complicated with many emails to review, property management was just plain rude. I overheard other renters with similar "check in" confusion during our stay. Bottom line I will avoid using a management run rental like sandiegovacation.com. I prefer the owner based rental experience and customer service to this managed approach. I'll also be sharing my experience with friends and family so they too can avoid this in the future. "

"Harold is the BEST host! They have thought of everything for you! Beach supplies, toiletries and kitchen essentials. Great communication. The pictures really don’t do this condo justice! I even slept out on the couch one night listening to the waves. Only bummer was the beach was closed due to contamination from the Tijuana river. Was able to at least enjoy the shoreline for really cool seashells. "

"The unit and facility was great. Beach/sunset view also great. Areas of improvement… check in was a bit complicated, made sense once we figured it out. Tried to call VRBO for guidance, was a Sunday so didn’t reach anyone. All said, I would definitely go back to this property."
