"Great location, lovely walk into town. Our room was a good size but was on the bottom floor and was very noisy as you hear everything going on in the room above."

"We had a challenge with the information about the check-in process. But the host was very responsive to our inquiries as we were nearing Winthrop. We had an excellent time and loved the location. There was one complaint about the downstairs twin bed being somewhat slanted. I thought that the kitchen was well appointed though could have used dry measuring cups."

"Great location, next to Mazama and the scenic highway. Half an hour to most of the trailheads. Very clean with lots of space. We really loved the welcome binder filled with information and helpful instructions. It answered all of our questions. Nice and quiet neighborhood. We loved it here!"

"The design is impeccable and by a famous architect - Olson Kundig. We enjoyed every detail of the building and how close it is to nature. Such a tranquil moment sitting on the patio looking out to the vast grassland and nearby mountains. Shower and bathroom are remote. Walking to them is easy. Food option is limited and you can’t cook, so come prepared with food. There is fridge and microwave in the hut."
Alpine Woods cabin close to trails, ski in/out

"Charming cabin in the woods that was well kept and updated. The towels were thick, bathroom roomy and clean. Washer and dryer were an added convenience. It was close to Winthrop, Twisp, Sun Mountain Lodge. Highly recommend this cabin."

"Great place, one of the best VRBO's we've stayed in. Great communication from Jim, he emailed on day 2 to see how everything was going. Love the deck, great view, fantastic in the evenings. North Cascades park is FANTASTIC. Also, don't miss the Mazama store, great pastries and coffee and we got a frozen dinner (made at the store) on two nights, cooked it and ate on the deck. Saved a lot of money and better than the restaurants in Winthrop."

"Beautiful surroundings and a responsive host. The house is in a great location - very close to Route 20 and the entrance to the park but tucked away in mature trees so it's quiet and private."
