"We had an amazing week with our pups this week! The house was everything described and more. The weather was perfect. We ventured out on a few hikes, made a couple stops at Tug Hill estates for wine and to pick blueberries, and even went to the fair. The water behind the house is beautiful and refreshing. We can’t wait to come back. We met the owner and the property manager was always available for a question!"

"We enjoyed our stay at peaceful Pines. The Okara Lakes area is lovely and it was close to Old Forge. The cottage was quaint and well cared for. I was disappointed that the amenities list was not accurate. The description said the kitchen was fully stocked. However when we went to make coffee, there was no coffee or coffee filters offered. Additionally, both drip makers were dirty and in need of cleaning. We were also told we had to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels, which for the price we paid for the rental was a bit much. Lastly, the washing machine was not operable as it was under repair. For 900 for a 3 night stay, I would expect this to be a working amenity,"

"Awesome. Cabin was clean and fresh and we never saw another human. Resident Broad Winged Hawk kept us company all week and we were greeted by two Luna moths. Cabin had everything and anything needed. HIGHLY recommended. And Brook Trout for lunch!"

"Launch was a little hard to figure out, info in the binder or on the site would be helpful. Didn’t realize the camp was right on 28, road is busy and loud especially when trying to sleep. Other than that it was cozy, amenities were nice. Liked the little touches of waters in fridge and a tips/ floss sticks!Suggestion: mount the toilet paper on a roll :)"

"This lodge was the perfect fit for our friends group trip. The kitchen, living room, & dining room space was open concept & was perfect for allowing all of our large group to be together while not being on top of each other.We appreciated that the kitchen was fairly well stocked with typical kitchen items including a drip coffee pot and filters, blender, pots, pans, & platters for cooking & serving large meals, cutting boards, can opener, dishes, mugs, a griddle, etc. There were plenty fans for each room and a few portable AC units throughout the house. There were also games, markers & coloring books in the livingroom corner cupboard that we utilized. Of note, there were not quite enough towels for each guest in our group (we had 16 adults and 9 children). One room had towels under the bed that weren’t found until the end of the trip. We were thankful for firewood on site for the fire pit & found a functional kiddie pool/waterslide in the shed that the kids enjoyed. We found a pot in the cupboard & a few potholders with mold on them. We appreciated the washer & dryer on site, the distance from the house to the road & how it was fairly quiet road other than some ATV’s passing here and there (felt safe and secluded for little kids)Otter Creek down the road was a fun outing, we got some inner tubes from the local dollar general and enjoyed sliding down the natural water slides. This was overall a great fit for our group and we would love to return in the future."
