"We were evacuated from our North Reno home because of the Hawk Fire. Since we couldn't go south we headed north to Susanville. Super 8 is one of the first hotels. The room was very clean, they gave us discounts and helped us out with whatever they could. All the staff was wonderful especially Michelle at the front desk.We kept needing to add days because of the evacuations and we have pets . They did everything they could to keep us in the same room so we wouldn't have to move the animals. It was not a fun situation but the Super 8 people helped us to get through this as easy as possible. Thank you Super 8 staff!"

"Very nice staff. Pool wasn’t usable. Not sure why. It looked great! The door to our room was really squeaky. Of course I didn’t notice until my husband wanted coffee at 6 am and woke me and the guy next door up. The floor was really dirty. We just wore socks. Breakfast was just enough and the Lumberjack staff were very friendly. Overall for the price it was a good deal. Would stay again."

"John the host was awesome. Communicated with us through the whole stay. The deck was nice. We spent a lot of time there and really enjoyed being so close to the lake. We loved all the extras like the paddle boards and all the places for everyone to sleep. Thank you for everything."
