Welcome pack. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This holiday cottages was constructed in 2021 and have everything you could need for a restful stay. Fallow Cottage (UK33488) has three bedrooms and 2 family shower rooms. Fallow cottage has a wood burner, and a private courtyard garden with garden furniture for you to relax in after a day of adventure.

    Set in the heart of Hadleigh just opposite one of England’s oldest Cricket pitches, the town itself offers a unique high street packed with quirky boutique shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants and is surrounded by beautiful Suffolk countryside, all just waiting to be explored. There are some great walks starting almost from the doorstep including one along the picturesque River Brett and another which takes you along the old railway line to Raydon.

    Venture just a little further and you will find a wealth of attractions nearby. Visit Lavenham, considered to be Britain’s best preserved medieval village and used in the filming of ‘Harry Potter’. This picturesque town is packed with galleries and lots of unique places to shop, eat and drink. Also seen on TV, ‘Jimmy’s Farm’ and is within easy reach, as are Flatford and Kersey Mills and Dedham Vale.

    For a change of pace, head to Ipswich Marina for a spot of lunch or visit the glorious Suffolk coastline, under an hour away. After a busy day’s sightseeing, you can return to the cottage for a great night’s sleep, perhaps to dream of adventures yet to come. Beach 23 miles. Shop 120 yards, pub and restaurant 600 yards.

Wow we had a lovely comfy and relaxing stay.

Wow we had a lovely comfy and relaxing stay. We had everything we needed and the cottage was spotless(thanks Barbie I think) Ris and Simon the owners were brilliant communication before, during and since had been fantastic. The homemade honey and jam were a really special touch to the fresh eggs, bread and milk left for our arrival. The shower was brilliant and our grand daughter loved the little shampoo etc “like being in a posh hotel” she said. Lots of lovely big sift towels too! Best break we have had and perfect for our dogs too with outside seating and bbq if weather had been better but that’s uk and we did manage to sit out one evening, even though road next to us it was really peaceful. Many thanks to Simon and Rod for making us so welcome. See you again soon.
