"Location was prime. Staff lovely. A little dated but still had character and charm. Pool on roof and outside areas were lovely to spend time on. Breakfast could have had less pastries/cakes but it was tasty. lovely views from our room. Staff were great at sourcing fresh flowers as a surprise for my wife"

"This is a super family run hotel, great views to the Port of Ischia and a 15 minute steep walk from the ferry port. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were all friendly and helpful with directions, recommendations and also a lift into town in the evening and collection between certain hours. The pool area is really clean and the sunbeds have sunshades which were helpful as it was unseasonably hot when we stayed."

"Here’s a polished version of your review: Hotel Solemare was the perfect place to stay in Ischia! Being right on the beach with a beautiful pool checked our two biggest boxes, and it exceeded our expectations. It was the ideal spot to relax while still being within walking distance of the charming town. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They even arranged a second room so our family of four had extra space, which made a huge difference in our comfort. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and after a few days it truly felt like home spending our days between the pool and the beach. Evenings in Ischia were absolutely magical—the town comes alive with a charming atmosphere, wonderful restaurants, and a relaxed coastal vibe. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would gladly stay at Hotel Solemare again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"First room assigned had a very dodgy terrace with an eight foot wall for a view. Thankfully we were moved next day when we expressed our disappointment. Best seek a room with a pool view. Breakfast and professionalism of staff were highlights and an amazing packed breakfast was offered on departure day as we were leaving early. Overall, a beautiful hotel."

"This is a beautiful hotel across the street from the beach. We had a sea view terrace and it was amazing! The room and bathroom were small, but normal for a boutique hotel. Breakfast was delicious. Pools and grounds were beautiful! Beach with chairs, umbrellas and service were perfect! I highly recommend!! Only minor complaint was that the bed and pillows were very hard. But still would stay there again!!"
