Hotel El Sitio Playa Venao

"El Sitio hotel is a great option to stay at playa venao. I went with my family (kids 10&12). It is clean, has a good pool on the beach that they keep very clean (not too much chlorine) and the rooms are very spacious. The hotel’s restaurant has delicious food and good staff. We will be back."

"Room was very clean and spacious. Lots of room in the showers, though controlling the temp was a little challenging. Beto (owner) was very nice, hospitable, and helpful. Lots of fruit trees on property along with 3 friendly pups. Breakfast was fantastic. Best we had in Panama. When arriving, you may need to open and close the gate. Doesn't mean its closed."

Hotel Posada Destiladeros

"Hotel is a little rundown but they were making repairs. Our room was comfortable AC worked great, breakfast was nice and the pool was wonderful. The staff was kind and helpful but services were only available if you asked. For example; website says daily housekeeping. When we asked why our room wasn’t cleaned they said we didn’t ask for it. We had the only key to the room so they couldn’t clean unless we gave them the key. We couldn’t check in because they didn’t have power in the office. They asked us every day to go check in but when we tried they said “later”. We ended up checking in and out on the same day. (Not a problem for us.) They couldn’t provide a printout of charges. Sweet people but the place is a bit disorganized. We enjoyed our time there because it was quiet and peaceful. Very few people were there which we liked. We live in Panama so we’re use to things very relaxed and off beat. If you’re looking for a 5 star resort with lots of services this isn’t it. If you want beauty, peace and quiet among friendly staff in a beautiful setting and don’t mind quirky and rustic THIS IS IT! This met our expectations so we will be back!"
