"Initially at check-in we were given keys to an occupied room. This is a dangerous oversight. Items could be stolen, privacy violated. A short while later they figured it out and gave us a different room. Overall the town and proximity is great."

"Very spacious, it does not have AC which was fine for the beginning of June but may be an issue if in hotter months. We had a 2nd floor unit which we were unaware of when booking. It would be helpful to know that ahead of time because we had someone with a bad knee. Overall it was a nice location and everyone that worked there was very nice."

"We had a fantastic stay at Sawtelle Mountain Resort in Island Park! The resort is ~ 30 min from Yellowstone west entrance and resort rates are reasonable. The very first thing we noticed was how spotless and well-maintained the entire property is. Our family room was absolutely immaculate and had a wonderfully unique charm to it that made the stay feel extra special. Another huge plus was the complimentary breakfast, which offered a great variety of fresh options to start the day. If you are visiting Yellowstone National park, I highly recommend staying here."

"Property was Fabulous! Clean, large Rooms, well stocked kitchen, close to Yellowstone approx 30 minutes to West gate. Close to general store and gas station. Would be great place to stay with kids, 2 families. Owners even had laundry soap for washer and dryer ! We plan on staying there again next year ."

"Staff was really attentive very helpful with picking places to go visit. Super friendly. Room was is almost 110% minus the little faint smell of wetness. That’s just being picky. Enjoy the free breakfast with waffles. Muffins bagels love the Nutella and peanut butter option with a strawberry cream cheese. Amazing overall a great place very happy with my choices from my family on a great journey and vacation."
