"First of all, I am convinced that a lot of the reviews on Google are either paid or written by friends. The hotel has no fitness center or breakfast available so that is just wrong information written by people who have never been here… Anyways you get what you paid for. When I entered my room the toilet was filled with grime and muddy footsteps. The sheets were also stained before I had slept on them. The service tends to be slow and inattentive. "Sheets were dirty. No towels. Boiler hatch didn't close in bathroom and boiler didn't work anyway. No WiFi in the room. We were told to go to the second floor and sit in the corridor for WiFi ! Breakfast was very basic. Front desk staff didn't seem bothered. Got moved to another room eventually. But not good. Still no WiFi. Other people we talked to at breakfast were having the same problems. Go somewhere else."

"Excellent Guest House run by very friendly and helpful people, Breakfast is eaten in your room and you can negotiate whatever you want. Poori Subji was my favourite. The hosts will help you arrange transport for whatever you need to do in Ranchi. The rooms are fine, but the bathroom / toilet area is very small.
