Excellent staff: very helpful and responsive. Great location next to a shopping mall that has a food hall with wide variety of foods on offer at very cheap prices, plus some more up-market restaurants. Wide range of shops including a useful supermarket. Taxis readily available in the area, allowing you to get straight on to major north-south and east-west arterial roads. The Light Rapid Transit (train) passes close by, as do Transjakarta buses. We felt that the kitchen was not very well equipped with crockery/cutlery; otherwise fine, and very spacious. This was our second time here, and we were disappointed that our second apartment had a couple of problems when we checked in: air-conditioning not working, safe deposit box not working.

One of the most extraordinary hotels I have ever stayed in. It really is a museum, but with gorgeous, spacious rooms, an outstanding restaurant and spa, a magical swimming pool, and superb, attentive staff. A stay at House of Tugu isn’t just a convenience; it was an experience. We spent two nights and are now looking for a way to go back.
