"Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Room was clean with nice bedding. The bathroom was clean with nice body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Plenty of towels! The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the Mystic area and Groton. A variety of restaurants nearby."

"When we walked in our room, it smelled like cigarettes. Unable to get a refund from booking through hotels.com, the manager immediately offered to ozone our room in which we needed to leave for an hour. It was an improvement upon our return. She also offered us free dinner. We ate offsite but it was nice. Sadly, the smell returned the next day. The staff was helpful and it was a convenient location but more suited for families with young children. If you want a more serene place, I would go elsewhere. The staff was great, I would not return as the hotel rooms could use an update, quite shabby, and the air system had a permanent cigarette odor in our room. We would have left if we were able to get a refund."

"We were a group of 12 friends celebrating a getaway weekend together and found this wonderful compound. We all enjoyed ourselves in the primary house, which had enough rooms for the 6 couples and also had four little cottages for those wanting a bit more privacy and their own bathroom. The house was extremely clean and comfy, with all the amenities a large group needed. We were immediately greeted by the property manager, who stopped in a couple of times to check in on us. The house has two living rooms and two dining rooms, both of which are large enough to accommodate our large party. Plenty of room to eat and to play games on. Each bedroom in the main house was very spacious, and the decor was nice. Outside had a nice deck with an extra-large picnic table, a firepit with outdoor seating, and a small BBQ that we used. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating, as a downpour canceled plans to sit by the fire. The location of the property was close enough to downtown Mystic and its shops, as well as to Foxwoods and Mohegan casinos. Highly recommend the Red Rooster for your breakfast needs and Dog Watch for a fun dinner spot. Couple of suggestions for the home owner/property manager..1. Gutters over the backdoor. The heavy downpour had going in and out of the house like running through a car wash. 2. some kind of runner or matt for the backdoor, we used a bath towel to put down during the rain as people were coming in and out getting the kitchen floor wet"

"Black hairs on my bed and bathroom….storm door was broken and I ended up with 8 stitches in the heal of my foot and no apology or any sort of compensation….i would not recommend. "

"The neighborhood is quaint and quiet; close to all - coffee shops, restaurants, the waterfront, and a quick drive to Mystic or Westerly. The home was clean and well-appointed; looked just like the photos. Louis was responsive and helpful. We had a really nice time and enjoyed our stay. "
