"The hotels in a great, safe area. The pictures online make it look way nicer than it is. It appears old and rundown. The bedding had multiple stains on it - both the actual bed and sleeper sofa. We opted to go purchase our own sheets and blankets to put on top of the hotel bedding. The sleeper sofa is junk - even for kids. The bathroom is extremely small. The hotel elevator did not sound great on our first ride upstairs. The fire alarm actually went off and we heard responders being directed to the elevator. Front desk staff were friendly but presented an unprofessional appearance. Overall, I would not stay here again. Definitely not worth the rate I paid because there was a volleyball tournament in town. "

"Checkin was 3:00 however at 3:30 the room wasnt ready and had to wait until 4:00 which caused us to run late for the event we went to KY for. For some odd reason there was about 6 inches from the head of the bed to the wall and the pillows were positioned at the foot of the bed. There was only a think blanket on one of the bed and only a sheet on the other. We brought our own blankets so that was fine. It looked like cleaning efforts were made however that room could use a good scrubbing. The building smelled like mildew and cigarettes. Overall, I’d say it was a dump. I paid $150 which is triple what this stay was worth. "

"My husband and I were extremely happy with Drury Inn & Suites East in Louisville, KY. The hotel was comfortable, quiet and clean. The front desk staff members were very friendly and helpful throughout our 2 night stay. Breakfast was the same menu both mornings but we stayed for only 2 nights. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool and pool area was clean. "

"Didn’t plan for handicap room which was fine except the shower would flood into the bathroom. Not ideal"

"We didn’t get the room we booked. Instead a smaller room. No discount. Room had toddler food under beds. Booked for 4 people but towels set up for 3. Had to go ask for extra. Remote had dead batteries. Had to go again to ask to replace. No extra blanket. Breakfast was terrible. Powder tasteless eggs. Greasy sausages with who knows what inside. Waffle mix that tasted like sugar and nothing else. Spray for waffles iron with no oil, instead silicon!! No maple syrup, only high fructose corn syrup. The only thing edible was a banana. Swimming pool had broken window women’s bathroom in lobby broken mirror. Sheets on beds were torn that if you moved your feet would get stuck in strings of old fabric. The whole place was a disaster. "
