"We had an excellent stay at Punta Leona! The rooms were comfortable and very well maintained, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Every single staff member we interacted with—from reception, room service, the restaurants, the bars, and the entertainment team—was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The resort offers the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation. We especially enjoyed the birdwatching and butterfly activities, where the guides were knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly. Between the nature walks, beautiful beaches, pool activities, exfoliation sessions, and excellent gastronomy, every day was a wonderful balance of exploring the jungle and ocean while also taking time to unwind. We highly recommend Punta Leona to families and to anyone looking to experience Costa Rica’s natural beauty in a peaceful, relaxing setting."

"The restaurant was excellent morning, noon and night...but with the night eating it is only reservations ONLY at 6,7,8,9....but you cannot make them there at restaurant, juist at the front desk. I e-mailed them to make reservationes for that evening, and 5 days later still no response so I am very happy I made a special trip to front desk to get it taken care of. Food was great. Only problem for me was no ice machine in building #3 as I walked the floors one evening for 15 minutes and finally bumped into a local maintaince worker and he said only 1 is on the bottom floor by registration. Sad, usually there is one on all hotel floors near the elevators."

"We chose the hotel for it's convenient location in the city of Orotina , where we were visiting relatives . The staff was good , perhaps a little inattentive on check out. The reception office was closed and I had to look around for someone to return my key. Be advice there's is a very noisy soccer academy right next door . We were alocated on room 11 , close to the academy . It can be an issue if you are trying to rest early evening ."

"Everyone deserves to experience this kind of customer service and restoration that The Retreat Costa Rica has to offer. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left it was a five star experience. The room and views were breathtaking, the spa treatments are like no other and the Farm to table dishes were incredible! Carlos, Juan, Ed, Dini and Leah (yoga instructor) plus so many more made my time in Costa Rica one I’ll remember forever. Excited to make this retreat an annual tradition for my wellbeing. I’ll come once a year and encourage all my friends to do the same. This place was truly heaven on earth."
