"The home was very nice overall and served our needs well. Communication with the host was excellent, and they were responsive and helpful whenever we reached out regarding issues during our stay.That said, there were several concerns that impacted the quality of our experience. Upon arrival, we found multiple areas of the property that had not been thoroughly cleaned, including the inside of the washing machine, several kitchen utensils, toilets, and the refrigerator, which contained old food stains and spill marks. We also found a dead bug in one of the kitchen drawers and noticed spiders and cobwebs in multiple areas of the home.We additionally experienced issues with the refrigerator maintaining a consistent temperature. Despite storing food properly, some of our refrigerated items spoiled during our stay.Overall, I would still describe this as a decent stay, particularly because of the home’s amenities and the host’s effective communication and willingness to help. However, the cleanliness concerns and refrigerator issues detracted from what otherwise could have been a much better experience."

"This was a great last-minute find! It’s far enough out to enjoy the peace and quiet and right next to the water. But a reasonable distance away from nearby beaches/parks and the next town over. The cabin was in pristine condition. The kitchen was modest but had the essentials - utensils, bowls, mugs, microwave, minifridge with a small freezer cubby. The only thing we needed to bring were bathroom toiletries, which the host forewarned us of. There were plenty of towels and bedding options for the two of us."

"We had a great experience at the cottage on the river! Monica was very helpful with suggestions and extremely receptive with our questions and concerns. It is obvious they want their guests to have an amazing vacation. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax, and with all of the toys/games provided, there's no need to venture out much at all! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!"
