"We stayed here for a Naval Academy reunion, and you honestly couldn’t ask for a better location unless you were sleeping on the Yard itself. Being right across the street from Gate 1 made coming and going completely effortless, and it was only a quick, two-minute stroll into downtown Annapolis.The house was spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning was ice cold—an absolute lifesaver against the summer humidity. I don’t miss THAT about Annapolis summers!John was a gracious, exceptionally communicative host who was very easy to work with from booking through check-out. Having the parking garage located right behind the house was a huge bonus. It easily accommodated a full-size car, though if you're driving a full-size SUV, it might be a bit of a tight squeeze.Overall, a top-tier stay. We would definitely book this property again!"

"This property was perfect for my son’s wedding weekend! It was so centrally located and had every amenity. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were beautiful. Having the porches was such a bonus. Our only hitch was fitting the cars into the parking area. Shorter vehicles work best. Thanks for a great stay!"

"An absolute gem in the heart of Annapolis! We stayed here over the July 4th weekend and couldn't have asked for a better experience. This is a lovely historic home brimming with charm, character, and all the modern comforts you need. The location is fantastic—situated in an easy, walkable neighborhood that made getting to the U.S. Naval Academy and the various shops, restaurants, and historic sites around downtown Annapolis effortless. It was wonderful to be right in the middle of everything without needing to worry about parking or traffic. The hosts were wonderful, and the property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. They also provided lots of informational materials to help with finding sites of interest. We would definitely recommend this historic home to anyone visiting the area, and we fully plan on staying here again in the future!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The location couldn’t be better. It is a short walk to downtown Annapolis and the Naval Academy, making it easy to explore shops and waterfront restaurants. This home has historic charm while still offering modern comforts. The beds were some of the most comfortable we’ve slept in and the entire house was spotless from top to bottom. You could tell so much care went into preparing the home for guests. This place exceeded our expectations in every way. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Annapolis!"

"The Anchor Inn house was perfect for two plebe families to spend quality time together at the end of plebe summer. The house is literally just outside the Academy wall so walking everywhere was a great bonus. There was plenty of room for everyone and the upper level “dorm” room was great. The hosts were very responsive to any issues we had. Highly recommend!!!"
