"Not many options in this part of Iceland, but the Hotel Flokalundur was a pleasant surprise with clean, comfortable rooms and a welcoming restaurant."

The staff were warm and welcoming. The only drawback was that the shower pressure was somewhat low, and the water did not get sufficiently hot for my preference."

He was very apologetic, but this lack of communication left us scrambling for a place to stay and an extra hour of driving. Not ideal. "
