"Driving in was rough...broken glass and huge potholes throughout parking lot. Check-in took a long time because staff were talking amongst themselves in a different language. There were other staff trying to figure out which of the 3 elevators in the 15 story hotel were not working. Got us checked and we hesitantly took the bad sounding elevator to the floor. Got out of elevator on our floor to an awful, rotten smell. Got to room where not only was it really dirty, but curtains were torn, bed sheets had holes, and bathroom mirror was broken. We went down to desk where they offered another room and thanfully refunded us without questions when I said we would stay elsewhere. "

"Beds were super soft and comfy. No carpet which I love. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner as far as other people's hair. Otherwise...the staff was phenomenal, breakfast buffet had plenty of options for $11. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Mall of America."
