"Bed was very comfortable - which is very important Inside room, carpet is dated and could use upgrading. Air conditioning unit is dated and could use upgrading. Thank goodness it was not hot in the room Outside property .. many beer cans and cigarettes not cleaned up."

"LANG LAKE RESORT IS THE ESSENCE OF ONTARIO COTTAGE COUNTRY -- BEAUTIFUL WATER AND LANDSCAPE VIEWS GREETED US ALONG WITH THE SOUND OF BIRDS AND THE CONVERSATION OF FRIENDLY STAFF AND GUESTS. (KEEP IN MIND THAT MOSQUITOS, etc ARE ALSO PART OF COTTAGE COUNTRY, BUT, THIS IS SIMPLY TO REMIND YOU TO BE PREPARED--NOT TO COMPLAIN OR TO SUGGEST THAT THE OUTDOOR CRITTERS WERE ANY BETTER OR WORSE THAN ELSEWHERE IN ONTARIO!) WE HAD A LOVELY TWO-NIGHT STAY AND ARE CURRENTLY EXPLORING THE OPTION OF HEADING BACK THIS SUMMER WITH A FEW OF OUR FAMILY MEMBERS."

"We had a blast during our 2nd trip to Darwin’s cabin!!!I can’t even begin to explain how special Darwin’s cabin is. There are enough bedrooms to fit our large family and the large enclosed patio is perfect for large family dinners and playing cards & games well into the evening (both of which Darwin has plenty of). Some new additions, since our last stay (fans & the blackstone griddle) made it even better. The fans were especially helpful as we had a warm start to our week and the griddle was super helpful for big pancake breakfasts.The only thing I would change about our stay? I would have stayed another week!!!"

"Let me just say this it could do with a tidy up. It did the trick. I slept well and the Aircon worked. Some of the floor furnishings are stained with some dubious fluids which give off a certain odour having said all of this I would stay again … I think"

"Nice clean accomodations. Lots of utensils and dishes. The only suggestion would be to have the bbq on the deck. It was heavy and ackward to move out of the garage. Thanks Doug."

"Older cottage but has everything you need and is spacious and very comfortable. Location right on the lake is beautiful with private beach and access to kayaks. Lots of birds, beautiful spot. Sunrise is visible from the jetty. The geese are nice to watch with their babies but they do create a bit of a mess on the lawn and beach. Overall a lovely and peaceful spot to spend a few days away from the bustling city."

"Both the property and the log home are beautiful, conducive to rest and relaxing! The location is ideal, very close to the town, restaurants and shopping. I would rent again and would highly recommend the place!"
