"Not impressed at all. We checked into room 418 and the shower was nasty. Had not been cleaned and hair was in it. Went down stairs told the front desk clerk about the room condition. He stated the house keepers were gone for the night and that they would clean the next day. Next day comes we leave to be with family on Easter. Came back and the shower had not been cleaned. Went back downstairs and was then moved to another room. Room 414. The room had a smell, the bed sunk down on the right side, and the shower was not clean. Because it was too late for us to pack up and leave, we slept on the other bed until morning. We packed out things and left the next morning. The staff was friendly, but cleanliness is not a top priority. My family will not be staying there again. "

"This is our second time staying. The host is super prompt. We love it here. Clean, comfortable and had all the amenities to make our stay enjoyable! Location is so convenient for walking into town, riding trails at Santos and Ross Prairie SP, and hiking and boating at Silver Springs SP. "

"Charming and rustic, very comfortable historic home located a short walk from everything you'd want to do downtown. Very responsive host (thank you Margaret!) good wi-fi and comfy beds. Excellent value, especially if you're staying with your family. We would definitely stay here again when we need accommodations in downtown Ocala! "

"My reservation was cancelled at 11:54 pm although I called (the day before) and advised that I was checking in around 1am/2am. At that hour in the morning had to look for other arrangements and got one around 4am!!"
