The Square

The Square

10/10 Excellent
"from the first that I checked in, until the very last moment, when I checked out, every contact and interaction with staff was an absolute pleasure. The people writing reviews don’t mention why the staff at fine hotels like this are so exceptional. They are always focused on trying to help you, exuding friendly empathy, and appreciating what your issue is, and finding you a solution. Plus the Danish quality of sweetness to everything they do is a great pleasure to my Soul. They do so with a smile, they look you straight in the eye , and then make your life easier. Imagine if you were surrounded with people like this, all your life, all the time. That’s when you would be a king! But not a president. I digress. Here’s the things that I liked in particular - starting with the fact they got me a room with a view. You don’t understand how important that is since my mother was in that Townhall Square the night the war ended in 1945 - 81 years ago. It’s a sacred place. I picked up some ice cream around the corner and they got me a spoon at the front desk. The stopper in the tub was missing and I didn’t realize that until they actually sent someone up with me from the lobby to take a look. I know all these things might seem incidental to you, but they were very, very important to me and making me feel at home in my favorite country in the entire world. They also made me feel good about the limited Danish that I can speak which I learned as a boy and I am in my 60s now."

"Amazing breakfast, although not included but highly recommend trying. Rooms/bath is tiny. Couldn't reheat up a cup of tea. No amenities in the lobby. Hotel should give complimentary luggage hold atleast. We had to pay for that. Good location."

CABINN Copenhagen

CABINN Copenhagen

10/10 Excellent
"Although the room is very small it has everything you need, TV, shower, plenty of plug sockets. The beds and bedding is comfy. The only thing I really could have done with is a fan as it was warm in the room and a hairdryer. The breakfast was good although more fruit needed especially bananas. Thank you for a great stay. Will return."

Wakeup Copenhagen Carsten Niebuhrs Gade

Wakeup Copenhagen Carsten Niebuhrs Gade

"Great location (about 10 mins walk from the train station and Tivoli). The room was clean and had everything you needed. The 24 front-desk was really useful as there were snacks and drinks available at all times."

CABINN City Hotel

CABINN City Hotel

8/10 Good
"This is a great place to stay if you just need a place to sleep. The rooms are like the economy cabins on a roll on roll off ferry not like your cabin on a cruise ship. It’s utility style, and cramped for three people and their luggage. But the its the best deal in Copenhagen if you don’t want to spend much time in your hotel room. I’m perfectly located for Tivoli, the main station, art and history museums and wondering around Copenhagen eating and people watching. Further a field it was easy to use the metro."
