About this property
Ocean Villas Turtle Bay | 6BR | Sleeps 16
Summary:
Bring the whole group to Ocean Villas at Turtle Bay, a collection of private villas on the northern tip of Oahu's North Shore, a two-minute walk from the calm, sandy beach at Kuilima Cove. Your reservation includes two private 3-bedroom villas: six bedrooms, four full bathrooms plus one half bathroom, two full kitchens, two living rooms and two private lanais, with the villas' heated pool, spa and barbecues on the grounds and the legendary North Shore surf beaches minutes away.
What we guarantee: Both condos are always inside Ocean Villas at Turtle Bay. Unit A is a 3-bedroom condo and Unit B is a 3-bedroom condo, with exactly the beds listed below in every bedroom. Both condos have ocean views. Both homes are kept to the same quality standard, with finishes similar to what you see in these photos. If we ever could not deliver that, you would approve the alternative first or receive a full refund.
Bed types: Unit A - Master Bedroom: King; Bedroom 2: King; Bedroom 3: 2 Queens. Living room sofa bed; Unit B - Master Bedroom: King; Bedroom 2: King; Bedroom 3: Queen. Living room sofa bed.
The 6 bedrooms sleep 12 guests at 2 per bedroom, and the sleeper sofa in each living room sleeps 2 more, adding 4 additional guests for a combined maximum of 16.
Unit A has two king bedrooms and a third bedroom with two queen beds, with two full bathrooms and a half bathroom. Unit B has two king bedrooms and a queen bedroom, with two full bathrooms. Each home has a fully equipped kitchen, a living area with a sleeper sofa and a private lanai, so both halves of the group have their own space to cook, relax and come and go.
Good to know before you book: each villa has its own front door and its own entry details, so the two halves of the group keep their own schedules. Each villa has a dedicated parking space. There is a 4-night minimum, with check-in from 3 PM and check-out by 11 AM.
The Space:
Unit A (3BR): Unit A is a three-bedroom villa with two full bathrooms and a half bathroom. Two bedrooms have king beds, and the third has two queen beds, a flexible room for kids, teens or friends. The open living and dining area connects to a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, cookware and dishes, and opens onto a private lanai for breakfast outside and evenings in the trade winds. The living room sofa opens into a bed for two more guests, bringing this home to 8.
Unit B (3BR): Unit B is a three-bedroom villa with two full bathrooms, two king bedrooms and a queen bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a living and dining area that opens onto its own lanai. A sleeper sofa in the living room adds space for two more guests, for a total of 8 in this home.
The villas: Ocean Villas at Turtle Bay is a private villa community within the Turtle Bay area, on the quiet northeastern corner of the North Shore. The grounds include a heated pool, a jacuzzi and barbecue grills, and the resort beach at Kuilima Cove, with calm water on one side and surf breaks on the other, is about a two-minute walk from the villas. Beach House by Roy Yamaguchi sits next to the complex for a special dinner close to home. Turtle Bay is one of Oahu's least crowded resort destinations, with no high-rise strip and no Waikiki bustle, just open beach, golden light and the unhurried pace of the North Shore. Both villas are inside Ocean Villas at Turtle Bay, so the whole group shares the same pool, spa and beach. Two three-bedroom villas in one community make it easy for a big group to gather for meals and sunsets while each family keeps its own kitchen, living room and lanai.
Guest Access:
Your reservation includes the private interiors of both villas, each with its own front door and its own entry details, plus the shared Ocean Villas amenities: the heated pool, the jacuzzi, the barbecue grills and the landscaped common areas, with a dedicated parking space for each villa.
The Neighborhood:
The North Shore is one of the most storied surf coasts in the world. The 7-Mile Miracle, the stretch of coastline from Sunset Beach to Haleiwa, hosts more elite surf contests than anywhere on the planet, and winter brings big swells and the Triple Crown of Surfing. The Banzai Pipeline is about a 12-minute drive, and watching a big Pipe set from the sand is a bucket-list experience even for non-surfers; spectating season runs roughly November through February. Waimea Bay, about 10 minutes away, has big-wave surf in winter and calm, crystal-clear water for snorkeling and swimming in summer, and Shark's Cove, about 11 minutes away, is one of Oahu's best snorkeling spots, with shallow tide pools and rich marine life.
Haleiwa Town, about 15 minutes away, is the North Shore's historic surf town, with farm-to-table dining, art galleries, Matsumoto's shave ice and boutique shopping along the main strip. Closer to home, Kahuku Farms is an award-winning farm stand for fresh acai bowls, local produce and tropical smoothies, and the Kahuku area is known for its shrimp trucks. Kokololio Beach Park in Hauula, about 10 minutes away, is a quieter beach with soft sand and grassy picnic areas.
Summer is the season for flat, clear water, ideal for snorkeling, paddleboarding and diving, while winter is all about the surf, and both seasons deliver warm weather and the North Shore's signature golden light.
Getting Around:
Turtle Bay is about 35 miles north of Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) via the H-2 freeway and Kamehameha Highway. The drive takes about 45 to 60 minutes and becomes highly scenic once you pass through the pineapple fields heading north. A rental car is strongly recommended for a North Shore stay; public transit exists but is limited, and having a car lets you move freely between beaches, restaurants and surf spots. Each villa has a dedicated parking space, and Kuilima Cove and Beach House by Roy Yamaguchi are a short walk from the villas.
