Beautiful, Ocean View Studio- Quiet, Kitchenette, Sleeps 4, Free WiFi & Parking

Lovely, spacious (600 sq. ft.) top floor, ocean view studio in our Guest House. It is light and airy with vaulted ceilings and glass sliders opening unto a large, covered lanai with a view of the Kona Coast. The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and there are two sleeper sofas in the living room for extra guests. There is a kitchenette, full bath, walk-in closet, and cable TV. We offer free WiFi, convenient onsite parking, beach chairs/towels, coolers & boogie boards.

Great central location, on the hillside overlooking the Kona Coast, 7 miles north of downtown Kailua. 10 minutes from airport (no noise) for those late flights. Owners have been hosting Big Island visitors for 30 years, speak German, and are happy to share suggestions and answer questions if guests desire. We provide everything to make this your home away from home. Wake up in the morning to the sound of birds singing, and after a day of fun, relax on your private lanai, watch spectacular sunsets and listen to the gentle rustling of banana leaves.

Our studio has a kitchenette so you can cook meals. The kitchenette includes refrigerator /freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, electric skillet, rice cooker/vegetable steamer, portable stove top with pot, hot water kettle and dishes. Dish washing and laundry facilities are located down the hall. There is a small charge for washer/dryer and detergent is included. This is one of several studios available.

Wonderful and peaceful little spot

Nanette made my stay very easy and comfortable. She answered all my questions and made sure I knew how to do laundry on the premises. I loved the view from the patio. Very neat, clean, and homey.

Perfect for us

It was exactly what we were looking for. We didn’t plan to really cook or anything on this trip. Wanted to relax. I loved standing out in balcony and in the midst of papaya trees and beautiful flowers.

About 10 min from KOA airport up on the hillside. There were 4 units, 2 up and 2 down. The upper units had a good view of the sea and airport.

The place was fairly spacious and had a nice Lanai with a far-off view to the ocean. Inside I found the furnishings and overall style quite dated and tacky. There's carpeting throughout, which is quite stained in areas. A lot of mismatched furniture. But I slept well. It was quiet and comfortable. So overall it met my needs.

This property was absolutely perfect. In a nice location. Very quiet, spacious comfortable beds. We stayed in two different units, each had a lanai which was really pleasant. We enjoyed the quiet, but we also were only about 8 miles from shopping. I would definitely recommend staying here, the hostess was delightful.

The place is cute as pictured. Quiet neighborhood, neat and clean, easy parking, had an amazing view from the patio. Though as stated, it is not near walking distance to anything, so keep that in mind to have a car rental. It is also easier to download VRBO once booked. Since that is the app where they send you a detailed text about checking in.

Excellent Stay

We had a positive stay here during our vacation to the Big Island! The location was quite central in Kona and a 15 minute drive to Ali'i Drive. The studio apartment was very comfortable and clean. We loved the balcony area and view of the ocean. The convenient access to the laundry downstairs served us well. Nanette was always responsive and helpful. Thank you for an excellent experience. I highly recommend to other travelers.
