What a wonderful gem! Wedged among the cliffs in the traditional old Kastraki village. Hugged by serenity and surrounded by natural beauty. Friendly and helpful hosts family. Large rooms with balcony and fireplace. Generous breakfast. Location is very close if wanted to walk the Monasteries loop. You are just 20 min walk to St Nikolas Anapafsas. The village itself has the beautiful church and plenty of low key tavernas serving delicious food. Unforgettable 3 days!

I regret any confusion, because by mistake I started to review another property here. Now for my correct review: This is a wonderful place to stay. Once you learn the easy way to access it by car (not through the convoluted GPS directions—though they do get you there) you will find the property in a spectacular site, with parking, and a beautiful outdoor lawn terrace under umbrellas. The owner and staff are so helpful and welcoming. My room was a comfortable, impeccably clean and spacious suite, with all the amenities—even a kitchenette, though why cook when there are excellent restaurants nearby. Though there is no elevator, the stairs are easy to access. Don’t expect an extravagant 5-star breakfast offering, though it is ample. I loved being there and discovering magnificent Meteora.

A wonderful place to truly experience Meteora. The hotel feels like it’s nestled among the magnificent rock formations, making the setting absolutely unique. The building itself is beautiful, and the rooms have charming antique furniture that make them feel like cozy little cottages. One of the best parts is that you can walk about 20 minutes to the impressive Adrachti Rock. Breakfast was very good, and enjoying it in the garden was a lovely way to start the day. Staying here really makes you feel immersed in the beauty and atmosphere of Meteora. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel in a great location: peaceful and quiet, quick walk to Kastraki for dinner. Also, it’s only a 20 min walk to one of the smaller monasteries. The hotel itself was rustic but clean. Our room (dubbed “Ariadne”) was spacious, with a kitchenette/ family room. The breakfast was very simple, but it worked for us.

I loved the location, can't really get much closer to the sights without becoming a monk at one of the monateries. The hotel is a older but clean and well cared for. Parking is easy, and the staff are lovely attentive people. It's cozy, quiet and really you can't beat the location.

A small family run place with 6 rooms. Very nice location. We had our breakfast in the garden. Highly recommended. Ample parking, just make sure that you dont follow the GPS through the village as it takes you through narrow routes. Use the other route and it will be an easy drive. The area is very pretty and the rooms are quite big. They also have an AC if you come in summer. The host is very nice, and they make their own cakes etc. If you are looking for a nice quaint place, do stay here.

If you are visiting the Meteora area, you owe it to yourself to check out Archontiko Mesohori. It’s a family-run property located at the end of a quiet street, a little bit up the hillside. From the moment we were greeted by Stephanie, we knew we had picked the right place. Lovely room with stunning views of the mountains around, delicious breakfast, friendly people (Stephanie’s brother was very helpful). Tons of restaurant options within walking distance. As our first accommodation on a 12-day Central Greece / Peloponnese, this place will be hard to beat! Thank you!
