"We enjoyed our stay at the Shin Furano Prince Hotel. The hotel is located right next to the ski slopes and although there wasn't any snow, we had a beautiful view of the autumn foliage and deer grazing on the slope at night. Be aware that they only have central air conditioning and no individual room controls but the temperature was fairly comfortable in the room. We didn't use the onsen but we did visit their large store downstairs and visited the charming artist workshops at Ningle Terrace next door."

"The room was small but efficient. Bathroom and room were clean and smelled clean. Staff were very friendly and attentive. They didn’t miss anytime we’d leave or enter the hotel. The staff spoke English well even for the individuals who didn’t feel confident still put in the effort and there wasn’t any awkwardness. The breakfast was good and kitchen staff were also very friendly. Overall staff were very pleasant. Ac worked perfectly. We didn’t use the laundry or public baths but that was because we were too busy exploring. The tv has a section to give you status updates on the public baths and laundry and included times the load will finish and if the baths were busy or not. "Went in the summer and got a family rooms with 4 beds. Sufficent space for 2 adults and 2 young kids. Awesome breakfast. Though the spread was the same throughout our 3 days stay. The marinated diced sashimi rice was my daily fuel. Hotel parking (located next to the hotel) is limited and we had to park in one of the affiliated carparks for one of the nights. So it's good to locate a few of these carparks beforehand if you are driving. Staff was friendly. They were also willing to help accept my online shopping delivery. Do message them for instructions."
