"We loved the little cottage. It was in a great location, only a 3 minute walk to turtles and sunsets on the beach. The cottage had everything we needed. The outdoor shower was a big plus and the vegetation surrounding the property was beautiful. The fans and air conditioning allowed us to keep a perfect temperature. It was a welcoming, relaxing and authentic experience. We would definitely stay again."

"Our trip to the Big Island was a last minute switch from Kauai due to storms. It was our first time on Hawaii Island, and we hadn't done any research in advance. The Mauna Lani turned out to be a perfect basecamp from which to explore the island's volcanos, beaches, oceans, tidepools, and history. It was luxurious without being fussy. The staff were almost without exception were warm and helpful. Our room had a beachfront view that was gorgeous, and a large lanai from which to enjoy it. I'm not sure if it was because the hotel was not at full capacity, but our room was very quiet, and our every need was met instantly upon request. We had so much fun!"
