Spring Break

We enjoyed the property throughly. Our kids had plenty of space to run around and play near the pool, grass area and beach near by. Lava Lava Beach Club walking distance down Papaloa is a must. Great food, drinks and views, it’s a must try!

Beachside Paradise Getaway

Fantastic home, clean with all the needed amenities. Views for days! Would love to see a hot tub and maybe some basic condiments but otherwise fantastic stay, highly recommend!

Awesome view!

We loved our stay here! Beautiful views and the grounds and pool are well maintained. We couldn't get enough of sitting on the patio and taking it all in! The condo has lots of room and everything you need for having a wonderful time! We appreciated all the items for the beach (chairs, coolers, towels) Also, with this not being a large complex it is was quiet and peaceful. Once again the views are amazing!!

Gorgeous Views

Very nice property with everything you need to enjoy the experience. Lucky to have once per year surf out front so our son could surf 15 foot waves! Spinner dolphins and whales too. Very near to all amenities, restaurants, shopping and beaches. Did have to deal with construction next door for a day and a half, but overall, very nice spot!

What an amazing spot!

We had a wonderful time during our stay on Kauai! The views are 10/10. We watched the sun rise every morning, and the surfers and paddleboarders during the day. The condo has everything you'll need, with a well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and plenty of beach gear (toys, chairs, cooler, snorkel, umbrella, boogie board). The complex is small and quiet, the grounds are great, parking is easy, and within walking distance of resteraunts, store, shopping, bakery (eat the melasadas!).

Best Kauai vacation!

This property was perfect for our family of 4! We enjoyed being centrally located between lots of beautiful beaches as well as our pre-planned excursions (sunset dinner cruise off the Napali coast, Smith's Fern Grotto boat tour and luau, Mountain tubing down the old sugar cane canals)! Having the Coconut Marketplace to walk to was awesome too! The unit was well stocked with kitchen supplies so we made coffee and breakfast each morning and ate on the lanai with a gorgeous view of the ocean. It was a bit cloudy in the mornings, so we missed the sunrises, but the sunsets & moon rises more than made up for it. Having the use of the beach chairs and umbrella was fabulous, thank you! Would love to stay here again!

I would not stay anyehere else on the island!!

I have stayed in this unit 4 times and on the property a total of 5 times and many times on the island,I honestly would not stay anywhere else. I have searched the island for oceanfront with a pool and you can not find a better property than this.The place is newly remodeled and the work is incredible. The view is over the top and I love the beach area out front and my husband and daughter snorkeled right out front with turtles.This is a great place if you have kids as there are tide pools right out front and the end of the beach has a great swimming area for kids.Restaurant and oceanfront bars all with in walking distance and a farmers market during the week as well.The management is excellent to work with!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing Property

Describing the views does not do it justice. You have to see if for yourself. We had dinner on the lanai every night. Simply amazing. The Condo was super clean and had a very nice kitchen. Everything you could need is in the Condo. The pool was super clean as the pool guy (super nice) was there every evening. Plenty of seating inside and on the lanai. We love this Condo and will defiantly be back. Cindy was also very kind and quick to respond. Thank you Cindy!

Beautiful Views

Could not beat the views and peacefulness of this location! The unit is well stocked with everything you could possibly need including beach chairs, cooler, beach towels. There is also a restaurant just a short walk away and the location is set in a nice little cove we were able to snorkel in. Our only issue was a little privacy....I failed to note there was no a/c and having to leave the sliding doors open for air flow each night left us feeling a little sticky and a little too "seen" by those coming home later at night right beside the bedroom we were sleeping in.

Yes, it's Paradise

We loved staying here. It's clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything if you want to cook. It's convenient having a washer and dryer in the unit. James and Bryson keep the pool and grounds spotless and are fun to talk to. The view is gorgeous. We were up every morning to watch the beautiful sunrise and had a leisurely swim and happy hour every evening on the lanai before going to dinner. We took advantage of the beach chairs and cooler to have a picnic at Kokee State Park. There is also snorkeling gear among other things if you want to recreate. One great reason to stay here is that the property is so quiet yet you can walk 5 to 10 minutes and eat at some excellent restaurants - Hukeilau Lanai and the Lava Lava Club. Paradise Bakery is across the street, and we walked to Coconut Marketplace in a few minutes. It is also centrally located so that you can go to either end of the island in 45 minutes/an hour if you want to take an excursion along the Napali coast or enjoy an afternoon at Hanalei Bay. Another great reason is the property manager, Cindy, is awesome. She is quickly responsive if you have questions, and she gave us the name of a concierge which offered some wonderful suggestions. Lastly, who doesn't like going to sleep listening to the ocean waves? We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The only regret I have is that I couldn't find a pen to write my thanks in the guestbook before we left for home.

Beautiful Ocean View

Overall our family enjoyed our stay at Hale Awapuhi 1A. Accessing the property was easy and the property is located within a few minutes of all the main restaurants and stores in the area. You can also walk across the street right outside the property door to access Passion Bakery Cafe to get great coffee, baked goods, and you can pre-order local malasadas (fried donuts) that are delicious. We also walked across the main highway and rented kayaks from Bring Me a Kayak. They load the kayaks on top of our rental car with foam mounts. The property is located about 3 minutes from the entrance to the popular Wailua River. If you haven't kayaked down the river, it's a must do. Once you get to the end of the river, you walk to a beautiful waterfall and then kayak back to your starting point. The best part of the condo is the amazing ocean view and the large patio. The view is exactly as pictured, but better! The condo was large and comfortable, but could use some updating. The wall in the master bedroom had some paint missing, and their was a pretty wide gap at the top of sliding glass doors that didn't have drywall. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were flat and need to be replaced along with the sheets. The sheets were somewhat stained and yellowing. The furniture cushions were pretty worn and need to be cleaned or replaced, but the living and dining room were spacious. It was a great place for the family to relax, watch t.v., and eat our meals. Because Kauai is on a tropical island, we did experience some insects, but the property manager, Cindy, promptly sent over some traps to help with the issue. Overall, our family had a wonderful time in Kauai. I would highly recommend staying in this area because you're so close to all of the great things to see and do on the Northern and Eastern side of the island, and you're a short drive to the Lihue or Poipu area. Once the property is updated a bit, it will be a true 5 star gem. Mahalo for a wonderful family vacation in beautiful Kauai!

Amazing Unit and Property

Our unit was perfect! Super pretty, clean, stocked kitchen and fresh towels, etc. The view cannot be beat and it was lovely sitting in the living room with the doors open or on our patio. Also the maintenance staff was so friendly. There wasn’t one thing wrong with our stay and would book this unit again!

Perfect Slice of Paradise

What an amazing condo to stay at. The check-in process was simple. The views absolutely amazing. The sliders where amazing to be able to see the whole outside while sitting inside. The condo was clean, had everything we needed while we stayed. The pool guy was there daily cleaning the pool to make sure it was in tip top shape. The lawn people stopped by to talk to us to make sure we knew they were there and to try to minimize disturbing us (super thoughtful). There is no air in the unit, but there are plenty of fans throughout the unit to help with air flow. We enjoyed having the sliders open and hearing the waves. We had a small issue with the faucet in the bathroom. We called and they were right on it. They needed to do a repair and they worked on it while we were not there to make sure to not inconvenience us. There were plenty of extra items in the condo to use (coolers, beach bag, snorkel gear, golf clubs, etc) to help us have everything we needed. Communication was great with the property manager so we always knew what to expect. If we come back, I would love to stay here again. Thank you for letting us enjoy your slice of paradise.

Paradise Found was a great condo to base our vacation around. It is convenient to both sides of the island and is near grocery stores, restaurants, bars and shopping. The view was incredible, the pool and landscaping was kept very clean and pristine.
