Best place to stay in Kargil
Stayed at The Kargil in late March. Great property. Well done & clean rooms. Very welcoming & helpful staff. Daniel, the manager at the hotel, was also super-helpful in accomodating some last minute changes in our itinerary. The hotel is an oasis amid the hustle and bustle of Kargil and great base to explore surrounding areas of Drass and Suru valley. Highly recommended hotel if you are staying in this region

My stay at the Kargil was comfortable. It was a few minutes walk to the town proper. Convenient location.
