Central location is the key!

Slightly cramped room but quiet despite being on the shopping street side. Otherwise compact. Quite good breakfast but nothing fancy, scandinavian though. Best this is the location as hotel is in the middle of the center, walking distance of all major attractions. Bed felt bit soft. Parking in the downstairs public parking house w straight accces to hotel.

Great hotel in the city centre

Gorgeous hotel right in the city of Karlskrona. Very comfortable beds, grand breakfast buffet, great menu for other food and lovely staff!

The township is quiet and calm generally..JA Hotel is located in the middle of a commercial street. It provides the convenience and accessibility to major retail outlets, and at the same time the privacy of space you look for in a hotel. Conveniently located if you wish to go a little further to the beach or the naval museum..or island hopping around this archipelago..

Central location, clean with great service!

Perfectly located smack i te middle of the city center. Inside a shopping mall. Nice reception area with a nice bar with basic meals. Coffee and cookies available for free 24/7. Clean,modern and comfortable rooms. I stay here again.

Overall a great hotel

Central . Close to shopping and supermarkets. Soft bed . Got an upgrade. Breakfast is delicious but mostly standard. The bread was a bit dry.

The hotel room was clean and nice. The staff was kind and helpful. If you need the invoice for work, read it carefully before leaving. There can be errors, especially if paid in advance.

Poor service and breakfast below average

- Got advice and instructions from the staff on where I should park my electric car for charging over night. This resulted in a fine. Got nothing but a "sorry" from the staff. (Not allowed to park more than 4 hrs also during nighttime at nearest charging spot) - TV in the room did'nt work. Staff unable to fix it even though they had a the whole day. Was offered a smaller standard room later on with working TV. - Staff sitting eating at the combined reception/bar. - Breakfast obviously prepared by people with zero interest in food and cooking. Breakfast below average. - Rooms are not cleaned during the stay unless specifically asked for. No info on this upon check in which led to coming back to a room not being cleaned after a long day at work. And a TV which still didn't work... This hotel obviously has issues with management. Avoid if you have any alternatives. Room was however clean upon arrival so the cleaning staff probably know what they are doing.

Bra frukost men smutsigt rum

Fick först ett rum med ett trasigt glas i badrummet. Fick dÄ byta till ett annat rum, och nÀr vi skulle sova mÀrkte vi att lakanen var smutsiga. Erbjöds byta rum men dÄ barnet ville sova bytte vi lakan istÀllet. Det gav ett vÀldigt ofrÀscht intryck, men personalen var vÀldigt serviceminded. Bra frukost!

Dyrt dussinhotell som lever pÄ lÀget

Första natten hade vi ett minirum pÄ tredje vÄningen med Queen size sÀng och takfönster. SÀngen var fruktansvÀrd, du rullar ner i en sÀnka i mitten av sÀngen och det var svÄrt att sova. Takfönstret tog bort all utsikt, badrumsdörren gnisslade och vÀckte bÄda igen. Tidigt pÄ morgonen kom sen sopbilen och vÀckte oss Ànnu en gÄng. Vi blev tvungna att uppgradera för ytterligare ett par hundra kronor till rum med king size sÀng och som dessutom var lite större. Mycket bÀttre. Hotellet i sig Àr ett trist dussinhotell utan karaktÀr. 3530 kronor för tvÄ nÀtter Àr helt enkelt inte vad det hÀr hotellet Àr vÀrt.

Vi reser med hund, och hotellet tar ut en extra avgift för detta - inga konstigheter och fullt förstÄeligt. Jag förvÀntar mig dock som gÀst med djur (i ett djurrum) att stÀdningen dÄ utförs som den ska. Rummet var inte stÀdat pÄ ett tillfredsstÀllande sÀtt, utan det lÄg hundmat kvar pÄ golvet frÄn en tidigare gÀst, golvet var dessutom flÀckigt av djursaliv. Personalens kunskap om allergier och specifika kostbehov var absolut begrÀnsade, och tyvÀrr bristfÀlliga. I övrigt ligger hotellet bra, parkeringsmöjligheterna Àr goda.

Fin frukost, trevlig personal. Fina rum. Dock var det vÀldigt varmt pÄ rummet, trots ac. SÀngarna gick att Àndra frÄn mjuka till fasta med en fjÀrrkontroll. Gratis parkering pÄ gatorna pÄ kvÀllar och nÀtter fram till kl 09.00.
