Currently under renovation

This hotel has a good location with nice views from the room. At the moment it is undergoing renovation so very messy in the public area and stairwells. Breakfast was not the best but OK. Maybe it will be better when the renovations are finished

Lovely waterfront hotel.

We’ve stayed here several times, location is lovely on the waterfront. Nice staff. The breakfast is wonderful and plentiful, the bar is nice, especially summertime. The rooms themselves are basic, pillows very flat, very thin towels, a very small glass for water. Absolutely nothing extra, nor even cosy, but comfortable enough to sleep. We’ve always had a water view, which is lovely. Our family lives walking distance from hotel, so it’s the location for us.

Sea view?

We had booked a room with sea view and got a view into a construction area with a crane. The sea was behind this but that was not a very nice view. We ended up drawing the curtains so we didn’t need to look at this. No fridge in the room, noise from the construction site. Breakfast was ok, but a bit hectic because of the many people and lines for food. Staff was nice and hospitable.

Bra lÀge, bekvÀmt rum

Fult hotell pÄ utsidan men fint pÄ insidan. Vackert lÀge vid havet. BekvÀmt rum med fin utsikt mot vattnet och enkelt men rent och funktionellt badrum. Sköna sÀngar, kuddar och tÀcken kÀndes frÀscha. Inget kylskÄp pÄ rummet. Killen i receptionen var vÀldigt trevlig, tog ögonkontakt och hÀlsade varje gÄng man gick förbi. Tjejerna var mer avmÀtta och för upptagna för att titta upp. Personalen i restaurangen var vÀnlig och maten god. Bra frukost.

Fint, men det kan blive bedre

Ligger helt fantastisk med adgang til alt hvad man Þnsker tÊt pÄ. DesvÊrre var der nogle serviceoplevelser, der ikke var sÄ heldige. F.eks. fik vi ikke redt seng (som vi havde bedt om), der var kun 3 ud af 12 tilbudte is mulige (lille ting, men ikke nÄr man rejser med bÞrn). Buffetten om morgenen var sjÊldent fyldt op. MÄtte hver morgen bede om 3-4 ting der ikke var mere af. Lege omrÄdet for bÞrn havde kun legetÞj der ikke var fuldendt f.eks. var det muligt at bygge en flot stor togbane, men der var ikke nogle tog at lege med efterfÞlgende etc. bÞrne-leg er desuden placeret ret op af borde dedikeret til gÊster der vil arbejde. Det ledte til uheldige situationer. NÄr der blev tabt noget pÄ gulve (vand, mad etc.) blev det ikke samlet op. En Êldre dame gled i noget vand (som vi ikke selv havde tabt), og selvom det var lige foran baren, var det mig der mÄtte bede om hÄndklÊde til at tÞrre op etc. der var meget larm fra andre gÊster pÄ vÊrelset. vi havde et fint ophold - men de smÄ ting var forstyrrende

Mycket glatt överraskad! Ett stort lyft!!

Grattis Karlskrona! Det första hotellet som verkligen levererar i Karlskrona, kanske hela Blekinge?! Dessutom stans skönaste vibe pÄ nya takbaren. Tycker Àven den lite enklare Asian fusionmaten pÄ takbaren övertrÀffade a la carte restaurangen som Àr pÄ bottenplan. Gymmet var bra för att vara ett hotellgym. MÄste för övrigt ha den vackraste utsikten ett gym kan ha. Frukosten var fantastisk. Rummet var över all förvÀntan. Blev otroligt glatt överraskad. Har bott dÀr tidigare men innan den stora renoveringen som nu gjorts. Har bott pÄ flera andra platser i Karlskrona men kommer definitivt tillbaka till Scandic. SÄ trevligt! Skön sÀng!! GenomgÄende vÀldigt trevlig personal, bortsett frÄn tjejerna i baren högst upp samt tjejen som var restaurangchef i a la carten men alla i receptionen, servitriserna pÄ restaurangen och frukostpersonalen var otroligt trevliga och serviceminded. Ett annat plus var Food courten som ligger utanför pÄ Fiskartorget. Vi Ät bl a vedugnsbakad pizza och tog en öl ena dagen nÀr vi var pÄ sprÄng, glass i lösvikt en annan dag. Trevligt och Urbanskt. Jag bad om sen utcheckning, men det visade sig att utcheckningen numer var klockan 12:00 och inte 11:00 som det var tidigare. Superbra! Ett stort minus för hela scandic-kedjan Àr att frukosten snart inte ingÄr i övernattningen. SÄnt ogillas - mycket.
