Stay only one night. Hotel has a good location, walking distance to the city center. We are satisfy with our stay. Clean and well equipped room. Quiet at night. Very good choice of food at breakfast. 😀❤️

Was looking forward to my prepaid multi-thousand dollar stay at the hotel. Was unable to go and hotel Leonardo and Expedia offered no stay-postponement options or reimbursement options, they just took my money and hours on the phone with them got me no help.

Badeværelset var ikke særlig indbydende, beskidt. Toilettet var decideret ulækkert. Maden var ikke særlig god. Sengene heller ikke til at prale af, men puderne er gode. Fint nok til en hurtig overnatning, men ikke noget jeg ville bruge flere nætter.

Abgelebt. Klimaanlage schwach und sehr muffig. Für 100€ pro Nacht erwartet man etwas anderes. Zum zweiten Mal infolge wurde mir ein Komfortzimmer gegeben, obwohl ich Superior gebucht habe. Erst beim reklamieren wurde ein Superior Zimmer zugewiesen.

Das Superior-Zimmer bietet nichts besonderes. Warum dann der Name und der Preis? Zudem ist es wirklich renovierungsbedürftig. Der verdreckte Teppich ist nicht tragbar - ohne Badeschlappen ekelhaft. Frühstück ist hingegen sehr gut.

Eine Nacht in Karlsruhe

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis geht in Ordnung. Das Leonardo-Hotel Karlsruhe liegt am Zoo (mit offenen Fenster kann man zum Beispiel die Pfaue hören) und mehr oder weniger zwischen Hauptbahnhof und Innenstadt. Eine Tiefgarage der Stadt ist nur wenige Meter (neben dem Gebäude) entfernt (Nachttarif 15€). Die Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet ist für meine Bedürfnisse mehr als ausreichend. Es gab sogar warmen Milchreis (lange nicht mehr gesehen/gegessen).

Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis stimmt leider nicht. DAs beste an diesem Hotel sind die Mitarbeiter*innen,die sich alle Mühe geben, die Mängel des Hauses mit Freundlichkeit zu mildern. Entgegen der Auskunft auf der Homepage ist das Restaurant nur zum Frühstück in Betrieb. Die Zimmer sind sehr abgewohnt, in den Bädern in den Fugen gibt es schwarzen und roten Schimmelbefall, Die Zimmer werden offenbar auch nicht von einer Vorarbeiterin oder Hausdame gecheckt und freigemeldet. Somit kam ich zu früh im Zimmer an - es wurde noch gesaugt. Im Schrank fehlte die Wäscheliste und es war nicht sehr ordentlich geputzt. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption haben mit ein anderes Zimmer zugewiesen, das aber ähnliche Mängel hatte. Schade!

Geschäftsreise: Die Zimmer sind leider sehr veraltet, wie in den 1990ern, obwohl nicht abgenutzt, und sind an Stellen zwischen TV und Bett sehr eng. Trotz vollem Hotel gab es einen verfügbaren Parkplatz. Renovierung von Flur und Zimmern ist mehr als notwendig. Leider ist das schlechteste Leonardo Hotel, was ich je besucht habe, im Vergleich zu Leonardo Ulm, was wesentlich moderner ist. Nachholbedarf.
