Vacation in a place that seems to be made for the gods!

Celebrate your vacation in one of the most beautiful spots of Karpathos!

Who would not want to spend holidays in a place that seems to be made for the gods themselves?

In this place, on the Acropolis hill, directly adjacent to the (main) Pigadia town is a very complete,
super cozy and fully detached house. The house is furnished with great care and has a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the views and tranquility.
The view is truly phenomenal! On the one hand Pigadia, the port and the main beach, on the other hand, the untouched nature with hills and wooded area of ​​Karpathos!
A few minutes walk are several small bays with beautiful beaches, in 5 minutes you it is more in the center of Pigadia and a few minutes large
busier, sandy beach.

You can drive through a dirt path, to come to the house. Quiet ride because often sunning themselves goats on the path!
This path is quite steep and therefore not suitable for people who have difficulty walking.

The clever design allows you to easily enjoy home of 90 m2 with 6 people. The living room is very tastefully and carefully furnished.
The open kitchen is fully equipped (coffee maker, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer). Separate toilet.
1 bedroom with a double bed and 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds. Luxurious bathroom with second toilet. The whole house has air conditioning and heating.

Enjoy all day sun on the beautiful, partially covered terrace of the house.

This house is not only the perfect place to spend your summer vacation. Even in winter is wonderful. Daytime temperatures can be very pleasant.
In the evening you can enjoy in front of the fireplace!

Stunning - our third visit - already planning the fourth

We entice our adult children and their friends to Karpathos, away from the party islands of Greece BECAUSE of the fabulous facilities and views at Villa Acropolis.Once here they work out how wonderful Karpathos is - beaches, cuisine and wonderful locals. Karpathos seems to draw a nicer brand of tourist too. We were able to have a wi carful breakfast spread and even had home-cooked* meals a couple of nights- I say cooked but actually we one night I did a full lemon chicken potatoes and simple Greek salad meal but another night we just got souvlaki from Erasmis down the road and I put together a Cretan-Karpathos inspired salad Another blissful trip to Greece with Villa Acropolis the drawcard.

Highly Recommend

This house is gorgeous! A friend & I stayed for7 nights & couldn't have been happier. Modern appliances, comfortable beds and the view was impeccable. Mike arranged transportation from the airport (45 euros paid directly to the driver) which was a huge help. Mike met us at the property, walked us through & even gave us a little background on his family's house. He was very responsive whenever we had a question & was extremely nice! The house sits atop of a hill that overlooks the Pigadia Harbor. Spectacular view! There is seating that overlooks the town, overlooks the harbor & also faces the mountains. Perfect from every angle!We walked into town every day - only a few minutes, which was convenient. The walk itself is steep so be prepared - I used a walking stick & was fine (63 with a bad knee). And the natural beauty of the land is breathtaking. Goats! There are free roaming goats! Overall, The Acropolis Villa couldn't have been better. I highly recommended.

Ein besonderes Ferienhaus

Tolles Haus ganz für sich auf den Hügel und doch nah am Zentrum von Pigadia. Der Ort ist über einen Ziegenpfad mit Ausblick sehr schnell zu erreichen. Das Haus bietet alles, was man im Urlaub braucht - windgeschützte Terrasse, wunderschöner Ausblick, gut ausgestattete Küche und Bad, schöne Einrichtung. Wir gaben es sehr genossen.

So good we came back

This is one of our favourite rental accommodations of all our travels. Unbeatable location, so fun to walk down the trail in the evening, past goats, sheep and two churches just below. High quality fixtures and bedding, very effective air conditioning in every room. And super friendly hosts, who made it very easy for us to check in. The pictures tell the story about the view and Villa interior.

Fantastic place, just don't be afraid of heights

A fantastic house with absolutely stunning views! From the ocean to Pigadia and 360 degrees around.The house was really lovely, very clean and stylishly decorated, and with traditional kapathian beds. Individual air conditioning in every bedroom and the living room was a huge plus in 30-32 degrees celsius. Our only concern was that there was no fence in front of the cliff, just one or two meters in front of the outside sitting area. Also, we didn't do the drive up to the house when it was dark (there was no curbstones along the steep part). But we had a wonderful vacation, and would definitely stay at the house again.

Just Marvelous. You feel you are living in the clouds

Our second stay surpassed our first. We planned our six weeks in the Mediterranean around availability of this property. We find Pigadia offers us the best location for exploring Karpathos. We love the walk up the hill, especially if we’ve had dinner. We did lots of walking generally in the island, as well as lazing on beaches. Having all the facilities you can imagine made our stay PERFECT! You cannnot fault the hosts for their communication and welcome.

Villa Akropolis

Bij aankomst direct onder de indruk van dit superb gelegen en dito ingericht huis: een smaakvol interieur, perfect schoon, mooie slaapkamers met heerlijke bedden. De keuken(inventaris) is meer dan compleet, àlles is er. Evenzo tav badtextiel: handdoeken zijn ruim voorzien, met zelfs badjassen! Het is van zon-op tot zon-onder heerlijk vertoeven op de gemeubileerde terrassen rondom het huis waar je naar believen ruim uitzicht hebt over zee, haven, stad en heuvels. Kortom, we hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in en rond dit geweldige huis, wàt een droomlocatie!

A greek dream

Beautiful, comfortable house on top of an idyllic town. We felt at home at once. Just a small stroll down a dirt road for a morning swim, or through small streets to get to the town beach. We stayed for one week, and had one week at a hotel before going back to Suzannes house now for 2 weeks. The whole family said they are so happy we are lesing the hotel and going back to the house, since this was the absolutely best place to stay!

Traumhaus, traumhafte Lokalisation

Das alleinstehende sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Haus liegt oberhalb der Stadt mit wunderbarem Blick auf die Stadt und den Hafen. Die Bilder können nicht wiedergeben, wie schön es ist, morgens mit Blick auf das Wasser und die umliegenden Berge draußen zu frühstücken. Zu Fuß ist man in etwa 10 Minuten in der Stadt, wo es ein reichhaltiges Angebot an Lebensmitteln und Restaurants gibt. Suzanne ist eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Es fiel uns schwer Karpathos und das Haus wieder zu verlassen. Wenn wir könnten, würden wir 6 Sterne vergeben!

All five stars for Suzanne's place!

Ideal location of the house combines proximity to the town and tranquility. Holiday at Suzanne's place was really a very, very good choice. We spent there wonderful almost three weeks and we will definitely visit Karpathos and this house again! The house is a perfect place, with beautiful views at the town and/or the sea and offers everything one needs with lots of space for clothes and other belongings Suzanne is a welcoming, attentive host and Her lovely house is a special place, definitely worth visiting, once you stay you will love it. Prefect place, perfect stay

The property is absolutely outstanding ! Best view ever. Very clean, very pleasant to stay in. The house is perfect. Go and see by yourself, you will not be disappointed. Suzanne made everything wonderful for us. Very helpful, very reactive. Again, perfect. We will definitely be back in Suzanne's house !

Excellent location

I can confirm what many others have already stated: The view from this very nice villa is outstanding. The location is very quiet and you have basically no neighbours, yet you can walk downtown on a small footpath within 10 minutes. For our way uphill after dinner at night we found a headlight helpful because part of the footpath is not illuminated at night, but if you do not have a headlight your smartphone's pocket lamp function will do the job. Finally, Suzanne is a great host. By the way, we went there despite the COVID-10 crisis. People in Greece are very disciplined in terms of distance keeping and using mouth-and-nose covers. The risk of catching that disease there is certainly much lower than in most other countries (including the country in which we live!).

wundervolle Tage

Die Aussicht ist wirklich ganz toll! Was uns besonders gut gefallen hat ist die Privatsphäre. Das Haus liegt ruhig und doch nicht so weit weg vom Leben der "Stadt". Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt an jedem Fenster gute Fliegengitter, Mücken gab es aber eigentlich kaum welche, höchsten ganz spät abends mal eine. Es weht immer ein Wind, wird also nie zu heiß und falls doch, in jedem Raum ist eine Klimaanlage. Suzanne ist eine sehr bemühte Gastgeberin und hilft bei Fragen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Atmosphäre!
