10/10 Excellent

"Loved this hotel. Very much a "villa, family-run" vibe. Positives: 10 steps from the beach, 15 min walk to the centre of town, nice pool - under utilized, on the boardwalk with good bars and restaurants, breakfast was included, and great staff. It is at the end of the boardwalk, so it is a bit quieter which made it great for beach use, restaurants, etc. Beach is beautiful - sandy, large, calm waters, shallow. There is a fridge in the room and a grocery store about a 5 min walk so you can grab some snacks/drinks etc. to keep in the room. Staff helped us get a taxi to the port and rent a car for touring the island. It was affordable and very easy. For families - there is a bin of water toys & sand toys that you can use. Of Note: Breakfast is more continental style - there are eggs and savory stuff, but it is not a super large breakfast. Homemade style food. Wi-fi is a bit spotty, but didn't have many issues with it. Room service will make room up daily, but may not get you new glasses, and there is no coffee machine just a kettle. Overall - 4.5/5 for this hotel. Great, great stay and would definitely recommend."

"My family of 7 had a wonderful stay at Naxos Resort. The location was perfect, as we were able to walk to the beach and into old town (especially for teenagers). The rooms were very comfortable, especially appreciated the very comfortable bed. We all enjoyed the breakfast buffet, the pool and the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would love to return here sometime soon!"

"The rooms were clean, but very dated. Breakfast was good and had variety. You cannot drink the tap water and you only got a bottle of water when you first arrived. You had to buy more water from the bar at an inflated cost or from a market in town. No market service on site. Bar costs were quite high. One of the restaurant staff was quite rude and we found one of the cleaning staff sitting on our bed playing on his phone for a while as we waited for him to clean the room."

"Overall I’d give this hotel a 3/5. The suites are beautiful, the location is fantastic, and visually the hotel delivers the luxury Greek island aesthetic shown online. However, the stay was undermined by numerous smaller yellow flags, hidden costs and inconsistencies that gradually chipped away at what could otherwise have been an excellent experience. Pros * Beautiful, stylish and comfortable suites & beds * Excellent location near the beach * Lovely atmosphere Cons * The biggest issue is the disconnect between the luxury branding and the actual guest experience. There’s a few hidden costs and “low cost” model tactics which don’t align with how the hotel markets itself. The hotel also markets itself as a calm luxury retreat, but both pools were often dominated by loud kids with no quieter space available - they should dedicate one pool to families and one to relaxation. * WiFi was nowhere near the advertised 500mbps and was unstable throughout the stay. * The “private beach” advertised was misleading. I was told I needed to spend at least €30 despite already staying at the hotel, especially as nearby beach bars charged less - this was not advertised on Expedia or their website. Food here was bland and basic. * Housekeeping was inconsistent and intrusive at times - there’s no “DND” or “please make up” signs, and at one point housekeeping barged into a locked room at 8:45 on a Sunday, then didn’t return when asked to later. Water/coffee wasn’t topped up regularly."
