There was space galore and it was a dream to cook in the kitchen with every imaginable utensil and high end appliances. The decor, flowers and lush foliage were just another bonus. We can't wait to plan another Kauai vacation and look forward to staying at Hale 'Imi Ola again! "

"We had a great stay in the deluxe ocean view room. Spectacular views, great beach to swim at. The restaurants were really good too, we just were bummed we couldn’t get room service the night we arrived. Other than that, amazing food at lava and rum fire. Coffee shop onsite was great too. "This place was perfect for us. We really liked being able to see and hear the ocean from anywhere. Inside the house, you could see the ocean from every room, whether it was from windows or sliding glass doors. The main house was homey but spacious with comfortable seating for all 7 of us in the living room and at the dining room table. The patio also had a large patio table you could eat at outside. It also had a small patio table and a large sectional that could probably seat a dozen people. This was wonderful because it looked over a rocky ocean beach where you could just sit and enjoy the beauty of the ocean. Several times, we were able to see turtles and dolphins in the distance swimming in the ocean. On-site were so many bonuses, including binoculars, beach towels, nice bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in all showers. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and cooking supplies enough that you could cook meals or heat up leftovers and a washer and dryer to do laundry. The side house was very cute studio with its own bathroom and kitchenette.We also like the location. We were close to beaches where we could swim, snorkel, and boogie board.Communication with Diane was prompt, friendly, and helpful."

"We had a wonderful stay at Kuhio Shores 301. The view and sound of the ocean from the balcony draws you in. The hosts have thought of everything as far as supplies, including beach chairs, a cooler, and an umbrella. Our hosts were so gracious by letting us stay late on our final day, as we weren’t flying out until late that night. We’re grateful for them and for this home-away-from-home!"

"Aside from one of 4 stove burners being bent, and the screen door deadbolt being bent the place was great. Adequate kitchen, bath & furniture. Pleasant balcony, & not facing the ocean directly, so wind & rain did not blow in, and a nice breeze moved the air in the room, along with the great ceiling fan. Good location too. "
