Our room was clean, but we did have to ask for a few things that were missing from our kitchen, a frying pan, etc. We did not use the pool, since we swam in the ocean, being so near to great beaches, but we did use the hot tub in the evening, which was surprisingly big but just a little too hot for our liking - it was still tolerable. The breakfast had many options available. The staff at the breakfast bar and throughout the hotel was great. I was able to find enough gluten-free breakfast options to satisfy me. The hotel is in a quieter area of Maui. We found it to be very family friendly. Things quieted down at around 9 in the evening.
