Myself and 2 friends came out for a 4 night break this week and the hotel was just lovely. Comfortable beds, clean and quiet. It’s about 5-10 mins drive to Argostoli and the nearest beach but for peace and tranquility it was fantastic !!!

What can I say about the ionis hotel that hasn’t been written before except believe every review you read as they are all true ilias & peri are the most wonderful engaging warm hosts we have ever encountered often suggesting great beaches to visit & places to eat the ionis is a 2 star typically greek hotel very well maintained & spotlessly clean with a very good pool the location is perfect as it’s situated in a quiet village just outside argostoli making it a very good base to explore the island a car is a must it has a lovely little pool bar to relax by in the evenings ilias & peri we enjoyed our wonderful chats there & we will return to kefalonia very soon & will be staying here again thank you

we were looking for a quiet place between Valsamata and Argostolia but with easy access to the seaside beaches and other points of interest. WITHOUT the seaside rates. This is an excellent choice. Rooms are small but clean. Pool is immaculate as are the public areas. Run by Husband Wife team that are ALWAYS available. They speaks English, Greek and god knows how many other languages.Rooms are cleaned EVERY day. Have a small pool side bar and tables under olive trees in courtyard. We have been on the island 3 different times and this is the best facility for the money available.

Communal areas were well kept, spacious and clean. Always somewhere quiet to sit inside and outside, and never had a problem finding a sunbed. Ilias offered lifts to restaurant which was a real bonus. Fabulous pool, clean and big enough for a good swim. Poolside bar menu could have had a bit more variety, maybe a different daily “dish of the day”

Ήσυχη περιοχή 15 λεπτά από Αργοστόλι. Πολύ ωραίο περιβάλλον βρίσκεται στην περιοχή κάστρο. Μόνο μειονέκτημα το κακό ίντερνετ το οποίο μου είπαν ότι έτυχε. Έμεινα ένα βράδυ.
