"Cute little cabin in a quite pretty location. Basic, but worth the money if you want a value for money private accommodation. My only comments (not complaint as these things don’t bother me). It was cold when I got there, it would have been nice if the heating could have been put on before arrival. The floor is freezing - bring slippers. The shower had a bit of a mind of its own and was either cold or red hot! It was cleanish but not perfect. And the tea tasted awful (not sure if water or kettle so I avoided this. Overall a nice place to stay, some small tweaks would make it perfect. "

"Omg love the house, the surroundings and the pool area. All areas spotlessly clean.Well stocked kitchen everything you needed in there bathrooms and bedrooms are stunning and the hottub was an amazing bonus.Ian kept us on top of logs for the log burner which was amazing.. (made me miss mine so having one built in my home ).Not a lot to do in local area but 15 min either way you have tavistock and launceston. Ideal for travelling to cornwall. Few slight downsidesAs a person with mobilty issues a handrail would be good on steps going to the pool and a rail going into the pool1 washing machines door was broke and dryer didnt workThese most certainly didnot spoil our stayWill we stay again ??? "Although our stay was fleeting (just one night) we were made to feel extremely welcome by all of the staff. The room lacked a TV, but actually this was an absolute blessing and it made change not to reach for a remote control. Instead there was a DAB radio which was playing a soothing Classic FM when we entered our rather classy country pub hotel. Everything was to a very high standard in our room. We were even welcomed with a short, signed note on quality card wishing us personally, a warm and relaxing stay, which set the tone for a wonderful stay. The bathroom had a white, classically styled bathroom suite, with high quality furnishings and a powerful rainfall mains shower. The shower screen could have been a little longer as despite trying to be careful, the beautiful grey LVT floor got a soaking! Warm towels and organic shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Our stay was extremely comfortable and despite being in a room facing the road, we weren't really bothered as the bed was comfy. I did overheat a few times in the night, despite turning the GCH radiator down earlier in the evening, but that's more a reflection on me rather than the feather down quilt. In summary, classy country feel pulled off immaculately by our warm hosts We would not hesitate to stay again and perhaps this time stay for a meal which looks sumptuous. Thank you to all."

"Great holiday here with everything you can think of. We had a lovely log fire which was lit by Ian, the owner, who also delivered lots of logs for us! Scruffy, his dog, is absolutely delightful and very friendly. We'd love to take him home with us! Would highly recommend anyone, any age, to stay here, and have suggested Sherrill Farm to many friends"
