The ‘Verbeke Foundation’ is a private art site which opened its doors to the general public in June 2007. As ‘a refuge’ for arts, the foundation holds an impressive collection of modern and contemporary art, mainly installations, collages and assemblages. Great location, nice and quiet but only 5 minutes from the station. The kitchen area was good, but lacked facilities. I needed to ask for plates, bowls and cutlery. A toaster would've been useful.
