Kenora and surrounding communities are about tourism, boating, sport fishing, and hunting. The scenery in the Canadian Shield is fantastic, especially the route from Kenora to Sioux Narrows.

Excellent
Kenora was much more established than I had imagined having a Walmart and Canadian Tire as well as all the usual establishments that can be found in that retail environment. The scenery was very typical (and beautiful) lake, Canada shield and trees.

Kenora is a cute little town in a beautiful area. We hiked A Loop of the Waa'say'Gaa'Boo Trail and there were some gorgeous views. We highly recommend a stay in this area.

How much bigger town than I remembered with all the normal big box facilities. Lots of dining options.

Not a lot to do in the winter. On Monday everything is closed basically.
"🌟 Great Stay at Nature's Inn! 🌟
We had a really nice experience at Nature’s Inn. The place was clean, quiet, and comfortable — perfect if you’re looking to get away from the busy downtown area.
Just a heads-up: you’ll need a car since the hotel is a bit far from restaurants, grocery stores, and other amenities. But that peaceful location is also what makes it great!
The staff were friendly, and check-in was quick and easy. We had our bikes on a rack on our SUV, and staff assured us it was safe — and it really did feel like a very safe neighborhood. Still, we brought our bikes inside just to be extra cautious. We never saw anything suspicious around the area.
Overall, it’s a great stay for the price, and we’d definitely come back!"
"Great location. Host was friendly and helpful. Very prompt communication. Good banana bread. 😀
Room was spacious, homey, and clean. Very comfortable bed. "
